One of the beef steaks I had , with a great local red wine, the Bella Vrana cabernet sauvignon merlot.

Excellent food and a wide seletction of wines, professional and hospitable staff. I recommend everyone.

Bistro la Mer is undoubtedly the best steak restaurant in Novi Sad. The variety and quality of meat makes difference comparing with other restaurants. Especially, should be noticed that it is the only one restaurant in Novi Sad that has Mibrasa Charcoal Oven. The result...is excellent grill. In addition, wine list is excellent. They have wines from all over the world. We appreciated very much that the smoking is not allowed in the part of Bistro, which is restaurant, what is quiet rare in Novi Sad. Therefore, you can enjoy meals without inhaling cigarettes smoke!More

The restaurant's space is beautiful, our table was next to the large portal overlooking the busy boulevard, adding to the dynamics of the dining area. The food, memorable; the beef steak was one of the best I've ever had. Wast selection of wines, both domestic...and imported. The service was un-pretentious, very helpful and friendly. La Mer is a modern, lovely restaurant with a large variety of local and foreign wines. The food is incredibly tasty with surprises that are served to you optionally - for example, on the table, you will find the Pomegranate Balsamic Cream, which gives your...salad a new and Mediterranean tone. We had a perfect evening in the Bistro La Mer in Novi Sad. The service is perfect, the food (we hat a T- Bone Steak and a chocolate-chili-cake für desert) was fantastic and the wine is local and really good. I would come back to...Novi Sad just for this food experience. Highly recommended!More

I had a great lunch here, definitely recommend the smoked tenderloin and the choc chili cake was delicious. I will be going here again when craving excellent beef!

Our hotel which did not have any diner possibilities advised La Mer as an option. The restaurant is just across the street from the hotel we were at so the distance was minimal. Upon entering we were taking to the back area where there are...some cozy places to sit. The front part is more of a bar/drinking area by the looks of it. The restaurant is very neat,clean and very nicely furnished. During our visit a photographer was taking pictures probably for the website or menu. Whilst this wasn't a problem to us (we work in the same branche) for other guests it might not have been a great timing. But that was the only downside really, we had the burger and it was excellent. It was served with fried potatoes that were excellent as well. Staff was very friendly and nice. I would eat here again.More

Service is fairly good. Location is not good, as its very far from city centre. Menu is very short, only about a dozen dishes.. Food is good, but when the bill came, I figured out that we could have better meal in centre of Paris...for taht money. Thats how overpriced it is.More

The steak is delicious. The staff looks highly professional. However, it looks like there is no non-smoking area.
