Walking in the Danube Park area and seeing this nice terrace across the street, decided to come in for dinner. The terrace itself is spacious, many seats, crowded. Inside is a trendy interior, dimmed lights. Menus are already on the tables, there are menus main and seasonal, prices are above average. European and Asian dishes are on the menu. I got curry chicken off the seasonal menu. The staff are polite and friendly, the service is unobtrusive, sometimes you had to fish out the waiter to place an order. My dish was cooked for 40 minutes, good portion. Despite the simple serving, it tastes pretty good, and not exactly typical of chicken curry.

Tastiest food in Novi Sad

After having tried a few restaurants in Novi Sad, we went to Gondola. We were happy the way Thai and Indian style curry were prepared in a Serbian town. The ambience, the service, the cuisine were all perfect. This is must to go restaurant in Novi Sad.

50 minutes waiting for oder that tasted poor

We went for Sunday lunch and was very hot but the sunshade could not be opened. Then we asked for child chair they said there is no chair for kids. Some dishes from menu we wanted to order, they didn't have and finally after we made an order and 50 minutes waiting for the food to be served, burgers were very small, salad so and so, and pasta over boiled. Horrible experience at not so cheap restaurant, with unpleasant stuff. If rating 1 to 5: Food 2 Stuff 2 Atmosphere (eating with sun towards your eyes) 1 Children friendly (not a chair) 1 We wouldn't recommend it.

The worst thing you pay for veal but get pork. Be careful!

I ordered SZECHUAN VEAL. In restaurant nobody know how to look like and taste veal. They serve on a plate pieces of pork instead of veal. After long discusion with waiter I talked with chief cook too, they claimed me that the meat is veal, not portk. Unfortunately they did not recognize sorts of meat. The chief cook gave me the meat in raw condition, the meat smell like pork not veal. It is unbelievable that in this time they offer veal and bring to customers pork. The worst thing you pay higher price for veal but get pork

BETTER FOR DRINKING PERHAPS THAN FOR EATING.

I was attracted by the fact that there were a lot of people sitting and that the place is outside the pedestrian area where it is very difficult to find parking. Once I sat down, however, I realized that most of the people were there to drink and not to eat. We waited almost an hour for 2 capresi and a salad with grilled salmon, which was richer in a strange sauce than salmon. Judging by the accompanying focaccia which was very good, perhaps the best choice was a pizza....even for an Italian. In general, both the food and the service are not up to par with other restaurants we have tried in the centre.

We took carbonara and fresh apple juice. And get penne pasta with a lot of fat pieces and apple juice seems to be mixed with water... cause it sliced and taste not real

Good Food but Arrogant Staff

We were very happy with the quality of taste of the food, even how it was served. We were seated inside and asked to switch on the AC as it was super hot.One of the staff was extremely arrogant when we approached him. We speak English and it seems that he speaks only Serbian. So instead of directing us to his colleague who understands he decided to take us for a ride and ignore our request. He even spoke very loudly in serbian language at my husband but we didn t understand what he was saying. I have a guess that he s the restaurant manager and I will definitely take this further with the restaurant as he s really not fit for the job. The others waiters were nice and educated. We didn t even finish our dinner after this mishap. For Sure NEVER AGAIN!
