Once we actuallyy got our food, it was tasty and interesting. But what a palaver! It was quite empty when we arrived, but soon the music came on full on and we asked for it to be lowered as we couldn't hear ourselves speak. But...it soon crept up again. We paid for the most expensive bottle of Georgian red wine (came to more than our food bill) and it came already opened and straight from a freezing cave or the fridge. What a dreadful waste and unacceptable. No lamb available today and the food came in relays so the first dish (wonderful cheese filled flat bread) was cold by the time the last kebab came an hour later. It was so frustrating and for a westerner, unacceptable. Lviv is becoming a big tourist attraction in Eastern Europe. This restaurant needs to get its act together, as its potential is real. But The barriers we had to overcome to get to the very good food were frustrating. 6% automatically added to our bill.More

I just was wondering around. It was at noon so i stopped by for business lunch because location is a very good a very city center. But i regretted for that after a few min stay. At first restaurant was empty like in this time...Runok square just full of tourists. Service is super slow, also a lot of not avaliable items in the menu.Food is bad and not tasty. My fried potato which is a very simply dish was just burned. And one more thing i was tired to wait a waiter to pay my bill so went to the bar .At first there was nobody for me,then i met some lady with no uniform but at the kitchen side. And she asked me to wait without taking any action. Then what a suprise i met her outside on the terrase by having coffee with friend. So most probably she was or owner or from manager team.Shame! I left from the restaurant with feeling like i spend my money in vain nobody cared about me, nobody interested to see me again. I see no poit to keep this place open and deliver such a awful service!!!More

We have tried this place for some drinks and then decided to come back here for a lunch next day. The food was great (awesome chachapuri) as well as pomegranate wine. Service could be better but the food is worth to wait. :)

I loved the restaurant. I was there with my friends twice. Both of times the food was extremely tasty. I'm not sure how Georgian food should taste but I love how it tasted there. The interior is great. Service was quite good.

I've been here with my wife and a dauther. The interior was great, I liked a lot that plates were made of clay, furniture is brand new, we were offered to sit at the table with sofa so that a bay had some space. We...fed her on the sofa and that was ok. Khachapuri was awesome but had a bit too much salt in it. Cheese plate was tasty too. My wife had a salad with salmon and fish was frozen, literally it had pieces of ice in it. My kharcho soup was pure water and a piece of meet, I found some rice with great difficulty. They didn't have khinkali, we weren't warned about this as we weren't warned that we can't pay with thecredit card despite they had a sticker next to the entrance. It was quite cold inside lookslike they had some problems with heating. Service was average, guy did not repeat an order and did not introduce himself. In general I had a feeling that I had a lunch in some small cafe on the outskirts of the city and not in the georgian restauraunt in the downtown.More

If you like such georgian dishes as khinkali, khachapuri and adore finly prepared meat - then Dalar is the right restaurant for you. We were in 3 - my mother, my boyfriend, and me - and we were sated with one porcion of mix of...greeled meat, one khachapuri, one salad and some khinkali. Everything was delitious and waiters are friendly and attentive.More

We finally visited Dalar last weekend, having meant to visit for a long time. The weather was warm enough to sit on the terrace, and the atmosphere was further enhanced by a great group of buskers playing nearby. The food was sensational!! The restaurant describes...itself as Asian, and visitors from the UK or USA generally take this to mean Indian or Chinese, but this is food in Georgian or Uzbek style. The chashlishuli (beef in tomato sauce) was good, but the chaktokhbili (chicken stew) was incredible. I'd love to have the recipe. One tiny black mark against Dalar was that they only have one dry red wine on their wine list, and on Saturday they were out of it. But the quality of the service, the prices and most of all the food make it impossible to criticise. We had a great meal and are looking forward to getting back soon. PS - I have marked this restaurant as wheelchair accessible - the outdoor terrace is very suitable for wheelchair users, but the inside (and therefore the toilets) are down very narrow steps.More
