First of all, GARLIC soup is amazing, the best I have ever eaten. I also recommend light beer. Service is frendly and professional, not to mention the fact that music gives this place extraordinary atmosphere.

It's very popular restaurant. It has interesting and colorful atmosphere as everywhere in Lviv. We`v caught a young green waiter there. He took orders without notebook from three people! As result he forgot one dish and we waited it long tame. So, when we decided cancel our order that dish was brought. And i have a piece of advice. Never... More

We've decided to visit Kumpel after reading so many awesome reviews and that was our mistake. There's a line before you can take a sit, our table was near to the front door, so cold wind was blowing on my back hourly. Waiter brought our appetizes and meals together after a long time of waiting. Our meal was tasteless and... More

Nice brewery, fresh beers, betrer than food- we tasted beef steak (medium) and paprika sausage-boty were very proper, but not very good as expected-last time I was here were 3 years ago and the beef then was beter, beer keeps the same good level:) it 's worth a try:)

Kumpel is famous in Lviv and all around for 3 things: 1)its own brewery and special taste of beer; 2)its home-made sausages with 3 different types of fillings that are served 1 meter long; 3)its founder - Mark Zarhin - Lviv famous restaurator-conceptualist. The food is tasty, however you should have patience to wait for it as usually the restaurant... More

Noisy, crowded, casual indifferent service, and greasy heavy food. You could call it authentic but to of the kind you want to visit and fondly remember.

When we came in the restaurant administrator/host was playing with his phone and apparently we interrupted him, as he was grumpy. We told him, that there are two of us in English and he gave us menu in Ukrainian. Ukrainian is a nice language and I understand some words, but it was too difficult to choose. Our waiter came in... Great night, buzzing busy place with authentic atmosphere. Food was interesting, genuinely recommend mushroom soromakha- fantastic broth with theee type and of mushrooms, very aromatic. Beer (which I really don't drink!) was lovely, I've tried tasting menu of three types, intense taste, absolutely worth trying. Requires hooking, well worth it.
