We waited for over 45 minutes to get our food, and in the end did not even get as we were late for a concert. Waiter Nazar was in no mood to serve us and kept looking at his clock. Administrator talked to us like...we're nothing and nobody. There was no "I apologize" or "Sorry* or anything of that sort. We received rude service, got disrespected and didn't even get to eat our food as we were late for a concert. I like their food a lot, but this service level and our experience has ruined our mood and desire to go back. Lviv has hundreds of cafes and restaurants. Kumpel is one you should not be wasting your time on.More

The food is average, everything is too smoked and is not too tasty. But one thing worsts to try - it’s a creamy garlic soup in a bread. It is very delicious and the best dish here

This was the first restaurant we visited in Lviv and was probably the best of the weekend. They do 1 litre glasses of beer! I had an amazing veal steak with vegetables. Friendly staff, great view if you get to sit their conservatory. And very...good value for money.More

The kumpel bar we visited had its own brewery in the centre of the bar. The local beers were tasty and well priced. It was good to experience Eastern European food. Meals were well presented and varied.

Kumpel means "buddy" or "pal" in Polish. And the word comes from Lviv slang of the Batiars, pre WW2 street subculture. Kind of shady characters, urban wiseguys, petty crooks, but not necessarily in a bad way... Anyway, great beer. Craft made really professionally, I mean...mass-production quality with lokal craft taste. So basically craft you can have many of and don't upset your stomach;) I always go for 1 liter tancard, welcome to the metric system my American friends! Good food, pere WW2 (Polish Lviv) theme with music from the era. Not cheap, but worth it!More

Great place to eat something good like dinner or breakfast. A good place for any occasion. Together with a group of friends we had dinner and the next day we returned for breakfast. The food is very good. You have to wait a bit, but...it's worth it.More

We had a special family trip, the visit was very disappointing. Very slow, food was average, staff not friendly. We spent quite a lot and was not satisfying. No one never asked if we need anything else, If we happy. Dish that we wanted was...absent and the waiter didn’t offer anything instead. Besides it never told us that the veggies that we ordered were already included in dish of our choice. Then I had to use my card 3 times for one bill, no one explained properly why. This city has much better service to offer, and more creative places to visit. wouldn’t return again.More

Trying to find a place in Lviv to have a breakfast I was lucky to be in Кумпель. Я вегетарианец, и позавтракал отлично. Приятный коллектив и вкусная кухня. Рекомендую.

We had a very good late dinner. The food is heavy, but it was tasty, and we got loads of it. The beer is really, really good, and I can strongly recommend ordering their taster flight of 6 small glasses. It's a nice room with...a convivial atmosphere. It should be said, though, that our service was rather slow.More

We had s great time having dinner in this nice restaurant in the heart of Lavov. Meals are original and tasty. Great beer and desserts.

I’ve been here before and enjoyed it but this time it was just okay. The soup was good and the trout but the other two dishes were just okay. I may be hard on this grading but they could do so much better.
