We've been lured by good opnions so we couldn't refuse the offer. After tasting Khinkali and Khachapuri in different restaurants in Lviv we can tell that the ones served here are pretty bad. In conjunction with higher prices, long wait times and bad wi-fi reception...I can only advise to try different balkan restaurants in Lviv.More

Wow. Interesting. English language menu. They compare it to the Ukrainian menu. Ate here a couple of times. I was shocked at the price the first time out. Items were consistent with the menu but it was the meat. It's price is listed per 100...grams. So if it's 50 UAH and it's 300 grams it's 150 UAH. And everything is charged. A sauce, dip or butter you pay for it. I've had the ribs and cow tongue. Both were delicious, would have loved some BBQ sauce or ketchup. The BBQ beef tongue is not what an American calls BBQ, more like grilled or pan fried. The home style potatoes come sliced with sauteed onions and ham pieces, the jacketed potato (is not a tinfoil wrapped baked potato) it's a precooked baked potato, that it spilt and heated on both sides. The warm Armenian bread is delicious with butter, I believe a little fruit flavor jelly or jam would be great on it. Be careful asking for a light color beer. They brought be a Budweiser, I'm shocked, I'm 8,533 kilometers from home and they bring be a beer I don't even drink in the USA.More

In Ukraine there’s no point commenting on service, because there are cultural and language issues. In this case it was not horrible so it was fine. I liked the lamb plov so much that I’ve had it 3 days in a row. The Yerevan soup...was good as well. Overall not spectacular but good for price and for Lviv, worth a visit.More

Not particularly tasty in my view, portions not big (except for kebab). Service is poor because they do not speak English and emphatic approach is not the strength of the house. I would not rate it overpriced as others do but simply I do not...recommend itMore

Tasty Armenian cuisine, polite service, pleasant atmosphere, I can certainly recommend this place. Only the location itself is not the most interesting part of the city.

Just had lunch here with colleagues, near Lviv polytechnic university. Have fantastic food, soup, bread, dolma and plof. Very polite staff. Not sure how expensive it is for Lviv but definitely recommended for food quality.

If you go to Yerevan, you go for the grilled meats (and maybe the hachipuri). The lyulya-kebab of any sort is really delicious, and they do a good job with all the grilled meats. If I'm looking for Georgian/Armenian food, Yerevan is one of my...go-tos. Having said that, the service is usually average. They often don't have what's listed on the menu. The drink options (particularly beers) aren't terribly exciting. The bread was so-so. And after all is said and done, you pay more than you get in return. Would I recommend it? Sure - if you're in the mood for grilled Caucus meat. But there are so many good places in Lviv, it's difficult to wholeheartedly point people in their direction.More

I had a pleasure to visit that restaurant. The service was nice and helpful, English spoken, menu in Polish (with a few mistakes, one can tell they used the google translator). I ordered a few dishes, they were very tasty and freshly prepared. But for...Lviv I guess it is too expensive. The atmosphere was very relaxing and pleasant. The disadvantage can be the lack of possibility of paying with the card. Only cash accepted.More

Judging the other reviews, i would say that most people who have been to Restaurant Yerevan and written a review here have absolutely no idea about Armenian or Georgian cuisine. Dolma- vine leaves are old, tough and fiberous. Khachapuri - buttery crust (it is supposed...to be a leavened bread). Egg ontop comes raw (pie should be returned to oven for 20 seconds to set white). Simple salad drenched in mayo. Eggplant rolls also drenched in mayo and dill (hello Ukraine). Wine - 350 a bottle for the same cheap and very awful plonk that costs 80 at one of the "by the litre" bars in the old town.More

This restaurant isn't really close to the main center of town, but is definitely worth the trip. It has limited tables, a couple of big ones in the front, and then smaller 2-4 tops going back; a really lovely, warm and cozy atmosphere. It has...really authentic Armenian style food, mostly wonderful grills. We got the grilled skewer of cheese, the cheese plate, the beef tongue (a really huge portion), chicken kebab and beef kabab. We also got the apple and celery salad, which was extraordinary, and a bottle of Armenian wine. The wait staff said they didn't speak English, but actually the did just fine. We also had a full glass of wine spill on their sofa, and no one blinked an eyelash...just helped cleaning it up. My in-laws are planning to visit us in Ukraine over the summer, and Lviv is a place we plan to return to. We'll definitely be going back to Yerevan. A great evening!More

The restaurant named Yerevan is the best Caucas cuisine restaurant in Lviv. The tastiest shsashlyk and kebab in Lviv and also dolma. Good service always.

Being very hungry six adult big men came there for the meat plate for 20 EUR total. All of men were fully satisfied with the food and celebrated this fact with tasty Armenian brandy.
