We had a nice dinner at nostalgija. At our arrival the staff was great. Without reservation (it is not possible to reserve a table) we had to wait only 15 minutes for a spot and they offered to wait on some comfortable cushions and have a drink. Service is really great and they really sold us the place. Well done! :) The idea of a short menu with fresh and local ingredients is interesting and conscious and you can see they put a lot of effort into it. However despite you can feel ingredients are good, there is a lot of margin of improvent for the kitchen. Food was a little bland, some weird presentation (no need to serve anchovies in a tomato!), somehow below expectations that the staff explanations created. Their home-made beer was good but we don’t recommend the wine or coffee. 2 beers, 1 glass of wine, water, 2 appetizers, 2 main dishes around 55 euros, which is good. Overall, we recommend the place and hope they fix a couple of things because we had a great night!

Simple dishes with a special touch on them.
We had everything from the cold starter dish to deserts and I can say everything has a home-made feeling to it. I saw people saying overrated and too expensive on trip advisor but I think they came with wrong expectations or food preferences. We payed 560 kuna for our food, half a liter of wine and still wate, so I think the prices are fair when you consider the quality of food and a really nice human touch to the service which isn’t over the top but also provides plenty of interesting information.
For us it was a five stars experience.

I've returned to Nostalgija for years because of the food, the atmosphere, and the Ujević family. Each year, there is a new and creative menu with phenomenal local and fresh ingredients representative of the unique history and positioning of Šibenik. Everything on the menu has been carefully planned, chosen, and prepared daily. There is a wide variety of food and drink options for everyone, including local specialties and multiple-courses, at a low price.
At Nostalgija, there is a "family table" feeling with accommodative staff and a small kitchen, matched by the excellent quality of food every day. Everyone here works hard to provide diners with the best experience possible. Drink local wines and beers, try as much as you can on the menu, and enjoy the flavors and stories behind each dish. Once you've visited, you'll return as part of the family.

This restaurant is the definition of tourist trap.
We saw this restaurant rated really highly on trip advisor so we decided to give it a try. When we arrived I asked the waitress standing in front of the restaurant if there is place for us to sit, before she answered she started explaining the whole entire menu to us… she mentioned that the food was made from fresh ingredients like three times. She got us seated. After that waiter called Lorenzo came,brought the menu and stated explaining it -again- and he didn’t forget to mention that it was made from fresh ingredients… We picked tomato tagliatelle with bacon and tuna with vegetables + homemade ice tea for drink. He wrote it down and he saw that I had a plastic bottle on the ground. He said that I need to hide it in my bag because they don’t tolerate plastic. They brought us the food and drinks kind of quick. Ice tea was ok but I had better, the tuna on the other hand… it tasted like frozen tuna with canned tomatoes and parsley. The pasta sauce was bland and the bacon tasted really weird kind of smokey and it was slightly undercooked. All the food that we got was easily recreatable at home and was definitely not worth the price that was higher than most restaurants in Sibenik. Not a great experience… especially after we heard so many good things about the food from the staff… if you want a restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food I recommend restaurant peperonico and restaurant Tinel :)

The best place we’ve visited in Sibenik, so much that we chose to return here on our limited time.
The waiters were very professional, nice, and attentive. They were also very quick with bringing the food.
Their signature cocktail, the second on the menu, is a must.
Very fair pricing, cheaper than a lot of places of lesser quality. In Croatia most restaurants are fairly expensive, but here you could fine main dishes under 100 kn, which is rarer than you’d think.
Every dish we’ve tried I’d recommend. The cold tomato soup, and the daily soup left no complaints. The fisherman’s pasta, and nostalgija pasta were both delicious,and had plenty of seafood in it. Both desserts were finely made and good-tasting
Definitely recommend to visit if you’re in Sibenik

Amazing food inspired by local ingredients and staff who knows what hospitality looks like. A fantastic blend of modern and traditional cuisine, a true star of Croatian gastronomy and I cannot say enough about provided service & atmosphere.
Really worth every single Kuna and would highly recommend it! This is a true paradise for foodies.
This was our second visit and we will come back again and again (and again)!

If you're in search of great local food and this is the place to go. The waiter explained to us that they offer on the menu only what they daily buy on the local market. Everything fresh! So when the food is gone, they cross it out of the menu - love this no-waste strategy! The restaurant is located right in the heart of the old town and offers great views onto the charming streets and church. P.s. You have to try the desserts!! Overall great experience, good value for money and will def come back when in Ĺ ibenik.

The best restaurant in town, family atmosphere, food on the level, whatever you choose from the menu you won't make a mistake. In addition to the perfect food, which consists of local, always fresh and traditional Dalmatian ingredients, there is a great, polite staff. I can't say nothing but the best for these guys! Bravo!

Amazing dinner in a family restaurant where they offer homemade dishes. I am sure that it is one of the best restaurants where you can enjoy and taste the traditional food of Dalmatian coast. But the best of all was their cozy bartenders and their kindness. They won’t hesite to help you and make you feel the most comfortable as they can. I would like to highlight the assistance of Lorena who made us feel a very special night. Our best wishes and hope to see you in Cadiz during your Spanish trip!

We ate in Nostlgija for the first time in 2014. Since then, we are comming back to this place each year, when visiting Sibenik. They have small, but very well crafted menu and each meal is fresh, beautifully served and simply delicious. And on the top of that - what makes this place really unique - are the people working there: very friendly, competent and always helpful. We definitelly recommend Nostalgija restaurant!

If you are a fast food fan and looking for piles of food ...this is not for you! BUT if you are looking for a nice little restaurant with finest food in a friendly atmosphere, the Konoba Nostalgia is the right place to go. No matter what you order here, whether it be an appetizer, main dish, dessert ...you will love it. We know since we have tatsted everything on the menu during our stay in Sibenik and can really say that neither have we nor other guests we have spoken too ever been disappointed it just tastes fantastic and everything is prepared fresh every day. But it is not only the food that is great here. Lorenzo, his lovely family and great crew really take best care of you. They explain every meal and how it has been made and make you immediately feel at home. Sadly our holiday didn´t go on forever and we just cannot wait to be back again for another great time. Check out their social media platforms to get an impression of what awaits you. You will not be disappointed.

If you enjoying the whole experience of dining, this is the place for you! Our waiter, Noah, was brilliant. Really knowledgeable about the food and drink on offer and made the whole experience so much fun (even though he is a Man U fan!) The presentation of the food is first class, little pieces of art on a plate. The portions aren’t huge but you are invited to look at pictures using a QR code so everyone knows what to expect from their selections. For us, the winning starters were the tomato soup and cheese dish. The polenta and bacon main dish was really tasty as were the plate of mini sardines and beetroot. We had to try the famous fig dessert and the that too was delicious. Yes the portions aren’t huge but if you’re looking for some locally sourced, fresh and honest food, then you must try this restaurant - and ask to be served by Noah!

This local tiny restaurant was recommended by our taxi driver, after reading the reviews we had to visit this restaurant.
The staff is amazing, and very friendly! Food is amazing, really haute cuisine. The meal sizes are rather small, but if you order three courses you will be fine.
Quality over quantity!

Had a beautiful meal in Konobo Nostalgija. The food was delicious and it was a perfect setting for an evening meal. The menu was very clearly marked with allergens, which was very helpful as I have an allergy to gluten - there were plenty of gluten free options. We were very well looked after by Noa, whose first night it was working in the restaurant. Noa was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. He did everything he could to make our night special and was able to recommend to us local beers and wines which complemented the food. This meal was a truly memorable one and we are very grateful to Noa for making our night so special. Thanks and well done!

The food was really delicious. They told us they use fresh ingredients which are available that day and have a no waste policy. And their house wine (we had the rosé) is nice and fresh!
