We were recommended this restaurant by our airbnb host as a great family run place with lovely fresh fish and we weren't disappointed. The setting is lovely with the big windows open overlooking the sea. The service was great, very attentive. The panna cotta dessert was gorgeous and worth having!! We would return if in the area.

Went with my husband on holiday here in the beautiful Zadar. The restaurant was lovely and waiter nice although a little bit serious, but we expected better as it was more expensive than what we'd payed elsewhere and got better. My fish soup was like seasoned water with a few fish flakes floating in it,didn't even have fish flavour. My husband... More

We have tried John Dorry there (called also St Peter's fish) that was fantastic! Good local Croatian wine was recommended by the waiter. Perfect meal. Since we stayed in the hotel, we tried also breakfast there - excellent as well!

My husband & I have been coming to Niko's since 1978. And while in Zadar, we are "regulars" there. Niko's has always been Zadar's # 1 Seafood Restaurant. If you want "wild" fish, not farm-raised, not frozen, then this is the place! Of course, there is always a price tag that comes with that. It's sort of a "you get... More

For my taste too cold interieur, expensive food and small portions, although the taste was good. Positive is it's position just near to see with nice view.

Dine with two girlfriends last week. Old fashioned and very expensive compared to comparable restaurants in the old town. However it was our waiter is the main reason for this review. I ordered muscles as my main. Half the shells were empty with another quarter fully closed. When our waiter how we were enjoying our meal I explained about the... More

This restaurant is located at Hotel Niko a short trip north of the centre of Zadar. It offers a lovely view and excellent hours being open from 4.00pm. On entry to the restaurant was a massive fish tank with numerous large fish and an eel. It was quite a nice centrepiece. There was a lovely decor with thick columns, shell... More

The members of the Pavin family explain their lifelong successful tradition with the motto: "Our guests feel at home here and the meals we serve them are the ones we would prepare for us." The Niko Restaurant is situated just 3,5 km from the town centre, in the picturesque location known as Puntamika. It is surrounded by the sea, soft flowing winds, with the panoramic View of our 3,000 years old town of Zadar, the town with rich historical background and numerous cultural and historical monuments and museums. The restaurant has seating for 150 people. Its cuisine is based on the fish and the house specialities are scampi, fish (which our guests choose themselves from an abundant fresh selection) and lobsters from our own aquarium. Not only the pleasant atmosphere and the world class cuisine are meritorious for the overall enjoyment you will experience at Niko's, the credit also goes to the klapa Niko (choir) founded by the owner himself.
