This restaurant is in the centre close to the veg & fish markets and about 5 minutes walk from the Arch of Sergii (the Roman Triumphal Arch). Starters (fabulous) 4 main meals, 2 large desserts, bottle of wine, soft drinks for £60 (595 Kuna). This was our best meal on our short trip. We chose to sit inside (as it... More

We had a light lunch here and were very impressed. I had shrimp risotto and my husband had ox pasta. Both dishes were delicious and well presented. Bread was served and an apitizer of whipped goats cheese and truffles, yum. The service was professional and polite.

We went to this restaurant based on a recommendation and we were not disappointed! The restaurant is located centrally and was perfect for a lunchtime stop whilst seeing the Roman highlights of Pula. We sat outside and had lovely traditional Istrian food. The Istrian sausage, octopus salad and Istrian pasta were all delicious. Very reasonable price too we felt. Would... More

Waitstaff and ambiance were quite nice. They are clearly aiming for a fine dining experience. Overall, it... More

First evening in Pula. We had first a good start at our nice guesthouse who recommended the Kantina. What a good choice! The tuna salad was amazing, also the fish with potatoes. We received as free starter from the house fresh cream cheese with truffles, and bread. I definitely recommend this place. Also the waiters are very friendly. Don't hesitate... More

If you are a real food lover (not McDonald's type) don't miss this real jewel. Starting with a very unusual underground settings - well organized and appropriately furnished with discreet and professionally chosen music ... with polite and well trained staff ... and most amazing menu! Pretty much limited but definitely unique - in this restaurant one can find some... More
