We were disappointed by the rude way in which our waiter spoke to us. After asking for another minute to choose drinks, he returned within 30 seconds to say "how about you order a starter?". The food wasn't too bad, however not excellent value given the price. Probably won't be coming back.

We had mixed reviews on food. The La Cuxina salad was good, the fish soup was tasty but the shrimp risotto was not good at all. We would not have gone here if Trip Advisor did not give it four stars but the food and service was not four star status in my opinion.

I had the truffle pasta, very tasty but a bit too much truffle, very rich. My friends ordered the tuna steak and beef steak, both overcooked, but tasty.

SUPER! Staff very friendly and professional. The waiter showed us a fish before cooking. The best meal in my life - really tasty! Prices good.

We had a nice sunday meal nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary, and didn't seem to be very traditional Croatian (like Winerschnitzel). But ok food and nice to sit in the square.

This restaurant is just up from the forum, we chose to eat there because we were not pressurised to do so even though we were a group of ten, they simply pushed the tables together for us, the waiters were very attentive to our individual needs, they even brought out a platter of fresh fish to view before choosing, being... OMG from all my travels I never enjoyed a restaurant as much as La Cuxina. I loved every bit of truffle oiled pasta, grilled chicken, steaks and fish/sea food plates. Literally, the food was so good that we ate there every dinner for 12 out of 14 nights we stayed in Pula. The other 3 dinner time were merely to... More

We were a party of 10 dining here during a hot evening in July 2015. The server spoke great English which made the service that much better as we were a fairly demanding group with small kids. We ordered a mix of fish, steaks, and calamari. All dishes were tasty, steaks were made perfectly to our liking. The fire roasted... More

After asking a local shop keeper for a recommendation for food we ended up here. We were lucky enough to get one of few tables inside and it definitely made for a nicer experience. The waiter was extremely polite and knowledgeable about the food and drink. When the food arrived it was like nothing we'd had during our time in... More

As I am in some way "local", Russian living in Croatia for 6 years, it's not an option for me to eat at touristic places during summer, but we gave a chance to La Cuxina. It was totally OK. Nice atmosthere and a kid's playground nearby, kept our little one busy, while we were eating shimps. Nice place in the... More
