We went to this restaurant on a rainy August afternoon. The service was exceptional. Lady that served us was polite but friendly as well.
Food was served right on time, and the taste was excellent. We tried fish cold many for 2 persons for the...start. Continuing with ravioli with truffle and prosciutto, and grilled local fresh fish, all that followed with Istrian Malvasia. For a desert we tried chocolate cake, and strawberry cake.
Everything that we tried was a pleasure for all senses !!!!More
We booked here as we had read in reviews this place was supposed to be amazing - and it did not disappoint! We were made to feel very welcome from the start. The wine was excellent and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The restaurant...is not in the city centre tourist trap - so be prepared for a little 25 min walk or a short 5 min cab ride - but very much worth the visit! Their homemade bread was amazing - and their tuna steak tartar starter followed by grilled squid was just out of this world. You must also try the strawberry and white chocolate mouse - words cant describe how delicious it was. Overall incredible food and great service. Highly recommended.More
This is my second time visiting this restaurant and I’m two for two on good experiences. We ordered a mussel appetizer and it came out with queen scallops, all fresh. Our Seabream was cooked perfectly and I never expected the beer battered seasonal fish to...be shark, which was better than I’ve had in the past. The last surprise was an Istrian brandy that was as smooth as a good bourbon.More
Hidden in a residential area of Veruda is a real gem - this restaurant has all one needs: great service, great food and ambience. The cold Seafood starter is great and really quite filling with the homemade bread and the best Croatian olive oil but...if you have space for main I recommend fried squid with the best potato side ever. Nothing more to add other than it’s really worth the trip if it’s not in your vicinity.More
