Street sea food place in the centre of Pula. We use modern food such as tuna, but also traditional such as sardines- all prepared in modern ways. Our fish is all fresh because the restaurant is run by two fishermen.
Amazing place to spend a relaxed evening. The setting is very informal but the food is exceptional. We had the tortilla with prawn, fish tacos and fritto misto with some white wine and everything was delicious!
On a rainy day, we visited Pula while spending our summer holiday in Medulin, which is just a 20-min ride by car.
We have visited Pula 3 years ago, and went to Hook and cook back then too; back then we had mixed feelings about...it, and we came to the same result this time too.
We ordered a bura beer (great) and a spritzer (good), fish tacos (more tortillas than tacos, fish taste was rather strong, and there was way too much batter and little fish) and a tuna burger (great).
Prices were a bit higher than your average Croatian prices and portions okay, not large but not insanely small.
Overall it's an option in Pula. 3.5/5More
Walked past this restaurant on a few occasions during our trip and always looked really busy. We went a little earlier one evening to get a table. Service was a little slow but staff were friendly.
Food was nice. We had fish tacos! Definitely worth...a visit and feels a little different to the other restaurants in Pula.More
i was very pleasant suprised because in this main stret i did not expect so cool kitchen and food. Food was fresh, tasty, stuff was very friendly and they suggested me to try cool craft beer Bura. All recommendations for a place where you can...eat in 100 kuna range.More
The food is tasty, yet for real hip street food it is simply too unimaginative!
The snotty waiter is the main reason for only three points: He decided the sides for us (fries, fries, and fries) and when we politely complained he was just sarcastic...about it. Unprofessional, inacceptable.More
