The food here was amazing. Simple menu, just choose fish or meat and you get what is being made for that day (enquire when ordering). Interior is nice, could definitely do with some fans in the outdoor seating area in the height of summer though! Also a bit more expensive than all the other places in the old town which... More

We ate traditional Istrian food and taste was excellent, service very decent. It is not cheap, but has good value for money.

You can clearly feel that the restaurant has it's glory days behind. It badly needs refreshment, both regarding the place and the menu. The idea itself I like - you just chose fish or meet and get a two dishes menu accordingly. The quality of food is good but not spectacular and the portions rather small. But the prices quite... Very good service and lovely family owned restaurant. Partial open air dining room provided beautiful and quaint setting in this former house.

A bit out of the city center but very nice atmosphere and nice music... Super friendly staff. We took the fish and it was nice. Even though we were surprised they accept only cash they were very understanding to drive us to an atm nearby. Red house wine was nice too.

our local best friends invited us to discover this place where we ended up having beautiful and unique dining experience. everything was beyond - the atmosphere, modest and grande, the owner and his elegant way of guiding us through the evening and the food and wine itself. we choose the fish menu and cannot wait to come again and try... Really hidden away in a quiet place. Small place - with 7 tables in front and ~7 (?) out back. The menu is lovely in simplicity: Fish, or Meat. That's it. Each is a set. No further written description. For the location, obviously we had to choose fish. Starter was sardines prepared/preserved many ways, and some fish pate. Great. (Just... More

We were looking for a restaurant outside the tourist area in Pula and came across a review of Vodnjanka which seemd nice. Its small and cosy room inside and the lovely terrace was really nice. The trattoria has a simple but good menu; one fish dish and one with meat. That suited us very fine. We went for the veil... More

My sister and I had read the great reviews of this restaurant and decided to give it a go. We were so glad we did. The two menus you can choose from are a great way of sampling lots of different dishes and trying things you might otherwise not. We thought it was great value for money and just had... More

My sister and I have really enjoyed our dinner there. We have shared the two menus fish and meat (must be one of the 2 menu that can be inconvenient), starters were delicious, many kinds of fish, meat and cheese so tasty (like really really tasty we are French so we do know about cheese haha). The dishes were good... More
