If you want reasonably priced, extremely satisfying seafood, Lokanda Peskarija should be a first stop. Food was delicious and large portions, we had both risottos with a salad and some nice local wine. We will be back to try other dishes as the location is delightful after dark on the port and the waiters are really friendly and helpful. Hvala vam!

Walking from our apartment round the corner we would pass through the gate in the old city walls into the City harbour. to sit at the Lokanda Peskarija cafe and watch the ferry boats sail in and out past the majestic St Johns Fortress from Lokrum Island.
This Cafe is tucked away under the city walls, and has the ambiance of the old school tavern, its menu is that of a very basic family owned fresh sea food place. We ordered fried calamari, muscles and a terrific dish of sauteed octopus along with a nice selection of icy cold adult beverages. The service was good and everything was cooked to perfection.
TIP: Lunch id always full due to the cruise ship crowds, but early or later in the evening is better.

I was here because I remembered always the taste of their food when I visited first 14 years ago. They still are the best sea food place ever and the quirky way of serving their food in the pots that old grandmas used too is so wonderful. Worst customer approach. Zero flexibility at all. After informing the waiter that the mussels are too salty, he will say that they were fished out of the sea and that it should be. I love this type of cuisine, I think I know it very well, and the food here is terrible. Instead of apologizing and going to the guest, the service sees difficulties, is unpleasant, and does not want to help. I do not recommend. But don’t forget - YOU HAVE PAY!

Our first evening in the old city. We chose this restaurant after chatting to the boat trip agents opposite.
Service was brisk and friendly but the mussels as a main dish were very disappointing. Luke warm, many mussels were closed and many with grit or seaweed clung to the shells. My friend had grilled squid which he thought was only average,

A week ago me and my friends were eating in Pescaria. The octopus salad I ordered was like gummy, hard to chew and not tasty. The portion was small but pricy. I do not recommend this restaurant. Bad experience for me along with high price for such quality. All ordered dishes was failure, not tasty and not from adriatic region. Avoid this restaurant!! Pricy and awful! A real disaster!

Not so crowded place even its located in the center close to sea side.
Food is tasty and fresh prepared, especially love sea food meals here.
Prices are acceptable not too much expensive like else where in Dubrovnik.

I have been returning here now for nearly 10 years and the food is still fantastic. The Lokanda platter for two is full of fresh and delicious seafood and the service is always friendly. An added bonus is that you can get 20% off with the Dubrovnik pass. See you next year!

What a delightful experience this restaurant is, right by the sea with a superb menu and great staff giving exceptional service. Absolutely recommended, try the grilled or fried squid or black risotto which are just amazing. Great value!

Tuna was a 5 star!
We enjoyed so much in location and in a fantastic view, it adds a special touch to the dining experience. We had the Peskarija platter and grilled calamari, paired with white wine. This restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you're in Dubrovnik and looking for good seafood with a beautiful view, Lokanda Peskarija is a great choice. The waiters were really friendly. The tuna in the Peskarija platter was cooked exactly to my liking, which is usually rare to get right. Excellent!

The service was quick and friendly. They brought the appetizer and drinks out right away. I enjoyed the Seafood Risotto which was a very large portion. The fried calamari was a little dry but we still ate all of it. The salad of mixed greens was huge and very fresh.
I would like to try another dish on their limited menu.

Amazing meal. We had the seafood platter. It says it’s for two people on the menu, but as recommended by the waiter we tried it for the three of us and it was the perfect amount of food. We had the house white wine, which was delicious. The mussels were the best mussels we have ever tried. Tuna was over cooked, but still good. All in all an amazing experience.

Great location on the water front near the marina, there is plenty to see here, and an opportunity to escape the huge crowds that prefer the narrow streets. Some of the cafe/restaurants will not offer a table unless you are diners, this one more accommodating.
Considering location prices here are fair and service was good. It poured with rain and the waiters coped very well since much of the seating was inside, customers were well looked after despite the leaking canopies. Recommended

We passed this place in the day and decided to book an evening meal here mainly because it was beautifully situated by the harbour and was quite busy. However on the night we went there was some sort of youth sports presentation taking place in the adjacent square which meant we were subject to loud speeches and noise which spoiled the atmosphere somewhat. We had the seafood selection which was over cooked (especially the squid) - we expected better for the price.
