Zuzori is a great place for a memorable night with excellent food in the otherwise very touristy Dubrovnik Old Town.
Both service and food were outstanding. The menu is limited but very thought through, offering a great selection of dishes, each with their own touch of Zuzori creativity.
Our highlights were the Zuzori Tagliata and the Oxtail, particularly the latter of the two.
They also have a nice selection of Croatian wines, many of which can also be ordered by the glass.
The prices for both food and drinks are very fair, especially considering the location. The value for money is excellent compared to other restaurants in the vicinity, that may be a tad cheaper but offer nowhere near as refined a menu as Zuzori does.
We can full heartedly recommend Zuzori and we will be happy to visit it again in the future.

We are 2 couples, that went out for friendly dinner. Had to reserve and luckily we did, because place was packed!
Everyone had different meal and everyone enjoyed it, I personally ate steak, which was perfectly medium rare. My girlfriend ate sippa/octopuss rissoto which was served in a bowl! And it was one of best rissotos I have ever tried!
Tables were well apart and staff was wearing masks all the time, which I found very proffesional during corona crisis.
Huge thanks to Romana, she was spark of the evening!
Will come back again, for sure 😉

Came here with my 15 year old son. Very friendly staff.
My son had the spaghetti starter, which he really I enjoyed. I had the croquettes which, as other reviews say, were absolutely delicious and perfectly executed.
We both had the Argentinian steak for the main course, which we ordered medium rare. Sadly, although the sauce and accompaniments were really very tasty, my steak was pretty much raw. I asked for it to be cooked for longer - it came back a few minutes later, still raw. I had to leave it. (They have steak tartare on the menu - if I had wanted raw steak I would have had that!)
Such a shame, but the steak ruined an otherwise great meal.

We recently spent several weeks in Dubrovnik and visited Zuzori twice in this time. The food was excellent, and staff very friendly. The restaurant was generally very busy and well worth booking ahead as a walk in reservation is hard to come by. Overall a lovely dinner which we would recommend to anyone visiting Dubrovnik!

Recently had dinner in which the croquets for a starter were very nice, however the truffle pasta was swimming in sauce which is fine if that’s your preference but led to the pasta falling apart before it was on the fork. It may have been over cooked from how it tasted.
Next had the pork loin to share, circa 2/3 was fat for a dish which is 55-60eur it’s truly expensive for 3-4 mouthfuls for each person and not particularly special in taste despite the description on the menu.
The redeeming factor was the waiter who knocked of 150hkr for the pork so would have been c. 75eur for the dish normally.
After which the waiter had said other customers had also said about it being fatty. Seems like feedback was not taken on board previously.
They offered a drink as compensation but we were so disappointed that we just wanted to leave, however that was a nice sentiment.
There are probably other dishes which are nice on the menu but beware it seems like pot luck whether the food is good or in our case not.

Dear guest,
thank you for your visit. We are sorry to hear that your expectations did not match up with your experience.
However - we must say that when guests order pork loin, we always say about that healthy fat as part of it as well as we did with you and despite that - we deduct that from your fee.
Anyhow, we value your opinion and we hope next time you will visit us so we can make your stay in better memorie than this one.
Kind regards and best of luck

We visited Zuzori six years ago I think and it has never, ever disappointed.
Set back from the main Stradun this restaurant offers excellent food and service and some really precise cooking from the kitchen. Wine is a Croatian tour of very fine good value.
We were not sure what it would be like to visit in current times but it’s still a lovely place, and safe and secure as well.
So if you’re in Dubrovnik make this your first stop or last stop for delicious food, wine and charming service.

After eating at a lot of places in Dubrovnik, we came across Zuzori and wow I cannot believe we did not come here sooner!!!
The ambience of the place is cool and modern. Although on the side street in town, the design of the place was very cute with patterns, colors, flowers, and candles that made it unique compared to other restaurants that are bland.
Zuzori is far from bland.
The hostess, Rea, was so hospitable. She knew the whole menu by heart and recommended us exactly what we were looking for along with some yummy premium cocktails. Her attention to detail was spot on and the way she took care of us is what made the experience so pleasant.
The food is unbelievably delicious, a true burst of flavors that is so unique. Hats off to the Chef. The BEST we’ve had in Dubrovnik!!! The new risotto is so delicious that I will have to be back just for that. The croquettes are amazing. The oxtail just blows your taste buds away and melts inside your mouth. Everything is truly memorable and just WOW.

It’s a place where you can have the best experience possible, not in a formal way, it doesn’t have to be elegant, it doesn’t have to be pretentious. It should be relaxed. Fine dining is about being pampered, eating very good food, and where the team – because it’s not always the chefs – use everything that’s in their hands to make your dreams come true.

I was so impressed with this restaurant, that I was gutted to be going home and so far away from being able to eat here more often!
The service was impeccable - great explanation of foods and wines, and also had small time for a little chat.
The food was something else. Truffle and mushroom pasta was insane as a starter, don’t know how they did it, but they topped it with the mains!
Beautiful duck main, cooked to perfection with sprouts and sweet potato etc. and an oxtail-like stew cooked to perfection with Parmesan mash.
It was the most expensive meal we’d eaten out in Dubrovnik (~ 1,300 kuna) but understandably so, as the quality of the food and service was absolutely top notch.
Don’t miss this place, and you must book. There’s a reason it’s on the Michelin recommended list, because it is amazing.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we were very impressed. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful with not only food and wine recommendations but also tips for activities to do during our stay in Dubrovnik. The food was high quality and delicious. We got the chorizo and prawn croquettes, ox tail, and sea bass and it was all beautifully prepared and so tasty. Highly recommend!

Central restaurant near the main square in amongst lots of other restaurants. Menu quite small but the food is exceptional, easily the best food we tasted on our 6 day visit. Croatian ham served with pickles was unbelievably good as a starter - if you like Iberico ham then you must try this, the pickles are perfect with it. The blackened chop for main was also delicious and we tried the cheesy polenta as a shared side which complimented the chop perfectly. The food here is not cheap but you get what you pay for. We found the food here on a different level to other similar restaurants. Personally, I find some of the Michelin starred restaurants can often be stuffy environments with overly decorated food where you are paying the premium for the ability of the chef to show off… This one is in the Michelin guide but not starred which is perfect balance (for me anyway) of technically accomplished food but in a nice relaxed setting. Definitely worth the extra.

I was yesterday there, together with my friend. We were thrilled by the warm welcoming of the hostess - Rea. She was friendly and very communicative. She helped us to find the perfect table for us. Rea was the reason to enter the restaurant, and after that we didn't feel sorry for our choice.
Additionally, our waiter was extremely professional and the food was incredibly delicious. I recommend the place, and definitely I will come back again.

We came and were warmly welcomed by the chief receptionist. The staff was always happy and extremely friendly. They gave us honest recommendations of the food, told us wich food they like the best and wich one is a Croatian specialty and wich one isn’t.

Dined alone and had the best pumpkin soup as well as the steak with roast potatoes and peas/tomatoes/mint. The service was excellent - especially Romana who was so lovely and friendly. Dining alone can be uncomfortable sometimes but Romana made me feel incredibly welcome. Definitely stop here for dinner if you are in Dubrovnik!

All of the food was so amazing, some of the best I’ve had in Croatia! The risotto was super great and all the fish is very fresh. My waitress and the hostess Raya were very sweet and accommodating to a single diner. Thank you for the great experience!!!
