We ordered small fried fish as a starter and the fish for two platter in mains. The small fried fish portion was quite big for a starter and tasted good. The best dish of the evening was the fish platter for two. It’s served with...grilled sea bream, steak of swordfish, prawns, mussels et al. It was absolutely delicious! This place is highly recommended for a meal. Not expensive. A meal for two costed us £80 with a couple of drinks.More

Ivan and his team were very attentive. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was great. Highly recommend the restaurant. Lovely location by the water, shame it was raining that night.

We ate there based on a trip advisor review and it was excellent! My wife is coeliac and I had advised Ivan of this in advance, but no worries about the food options, everything is freshly cooked and Jako the waiter explained all the possible...Gluten Free options when we ordered. Gluten Free bread was amazing. Then he also expertly dealt with 1.5kgs of freshly caught sea bream, two very very contended diners. Only wish we had time to go again but short stay in Dubrovnik. Recommended for GF diners.More

My husband and I had a great meal here and Ivan, our waiter, was extremely helpful, attentive, and provided great recommendations. We loved the vegetable and beef soup and my husband got the whole fish fillet which was the best dish he had on our...honeymoon and I got a Croatian classic dish of Pasticada. We even tried their homemade cherry liquor which was great! Affordable prices and very nice range of selections on the menu.More

Enjoyed a lovely meal at this great restaurant. The food, the ambience, the staff are all just top notch. We ate inside due to the rain. Enjoyed the beef soup whilst Mrs B had the Prawn Risotto Appetiser (which was huge so I helped her...finish it) followed by the meat platter for 2. No room for desert. Good value too - give it a try yourself - you won’t be disappointedMore

Slightly of the popular tourist route but worth seeking out and booking in advance. The platters of both fish and meat and generous and delicious. Service is good and would say one of the best food experiences of our recent holiday in Croatia.

We loved this restaurant just 10m from Dubrovnik. The quality and portion sizes of the fish dishes were absolutely top notch, and the service by Jako was exceptional. I highly recommend getting out of Dubrovnik, and coming here for food that is 10 times better...for less money! Entrees come with huge portions of delicious mashed potatoes with chard mixed in....mouth watering.More

It has been one of my best experience in Dubrovnik. We were impressed by the special fish soup offered by Ivan. The mussels are amazingly good. All stuffs are friendly. A minor place for improvement is the grilled fish is a bit salty, but it...would not change the fact that it’s a great restaurant. 餐厅超棒,吹爆。淡菜真真Q弹,海鲜炖饭超好吃。烤鱼可能有点咸,建议和老板说做淡一点。性价比超高,下次来杜城一定会再来。More

Got to the family-owned restaurant 20 minutes before our reservation. It was just perfect that we got to sit on the bench by the water and enjoyed the breeze and watching the boats in the bay. Service did not disappoint. My catch of the day...was lightly seasoned to let the freshness speak for itself! Our table was right by the water, so we saw the owner Ivan getting in his boat to set things up for tomorrow’s catches. We joked with him when he came to our table, and as he saw me order a Rakia for dessert, he brought us his mom’s own cherry-flavored Rakia to try, which was amazing and such a treat! We will love to return again to this authentic and local gem! Thank you Ivan, for a wonderful dining experience ❤️More

Although the reviews are excellent they still don’t do this restaurant justice!! Unbelievable food accompanied by such polite and professional staff. If you don’t visit here whilst in Dubrovnik then you’re mad! Special thanks to our waiter Jako 👍

My friend and I were spending the weekend in Dubrovnik and I wanted to eat local food. We were looking for a restaurant and we decided to come here and we couldn't be happier with the decision. The food was great as well as the...wine. Mention apart to the fabulous apple pie (sorry no pictures). Ivan, our waiter went above and beyond and provided an excellent service. Highly recommended.More

This little family owned and run restaurant is a place not to be missed. It is not far from the city walls ( 45K or €5-7) Uber ride . The mama cooks and her sons do the rest. The fried fish appetizer is just perfect...in every way and the octopus salad might be the best I’ve had all over Europe in the past 20 years and those are just two of their many appetizer offerings. We could not decide what to have for dinner as everything looks wonderful but we chose the seafood platter for two and we were not disappointed. It was a mountain of prawns, calamari, sea bream and sea bass as well as other grilled fish and seafood enough food for three or four. Very nice wine list as well. And everything is very reasonably priced. We have been in Split, Hvar, Togir, Brac and bow Dubrovnik ( not to mention Venice before Croatia. Konoba Bonaca is the top one or two places we have eaten. Don’t miss this little family run gem or you will have missed a highlight of Croatian culinary experience.More

You don't have to wait for a long time, you usually have a free table. You don't have to reserve a table in advance. The waiter is very helpful and in a few minutes you can get a table :) It is worth to wait. :)

I walked to harbour one day. It takes around 25 mins ,and it is slightly hair raising to say the least. I definitely wouldn't walk it in the dark. There are 3 buses that stop almost directly across and outside the restaurant... More
