We try to always eat in the side streets away from the prices and attitudes of the main tourist strips. This place was a find. I had excellent gluten free food here without any trouble - a tasty Veal and Mushroom Risotto (with plenty of mushrooms), a Pear in Red Wine for dessert, plus a carafe of decent red wine.... More

Stopped by here for lunch. Service was exceptional and food was very good! It is a little difficult to find in old town with all the side streets but well worth searching it out. Mojitos were some of the best we have had anywhere and price was great!

We dined here for our last night in Dubrovnik. We were given a table in the air conditioned restaurant which was lovely. The menu has a good selection. The starters and mains were top quality for taste and portion size and well presented. I have a nut allergy so was nervous about desert. The waiter spoke with the chef and... More

The only place in Dubrovnik that does peka (Croatian meats and vegetables cooked under an iron bell). They did it amazingly. Some locals questioned if this was real peka because they insist it has to be done outdoors but our lamb and veal "peka-style" was tender and delicious. Also their black squid risotto and octopus salad are great. The seafood... More

We fancied a steak meal and found this place on TripAdvisor. Between us we had a fillet steak and a ribeye and both were cooked perfectly, we saw other guests have fish dishes which looked amazing. The service was excellent.

I have to say I am a greatly confused as to why would anyone consider the food served here excellent. The place feels dirty, tables definitely are, waiters act like you should be serving them. Food was not bad, but far from amazing - as someone mentioned, you can find other restaurants serving better food for cheaper and with waiters... More

We were on an evening trip into Dubrovnik with limited time. The restaurant we had wanted to eat at was full and could not offer a table within our timescale. It was a very busy Friday evening and were having difficulty finding a restaurant that could accommodate us and also looked of interest to us cutting through one of the... More

Dalmatino Konoba had an impressive menu and great service, but most mains were $150-200 kuna and starters were ~80 kuna. This is more of a special occasion restaurant than a casual dinner spot, but everything was very good.

Went here for dinner on our second night in town. It was good, but very expensive. It was 150kn more than the Restaurant Dubrovnik where we ate the night before (see separate review) and not as good. The food was fine, as was the wine. But with the benefit of hindsight, we should have gone back to the Dubrovnik!

Arrived and we could only get a table inside. Food was excellent, service a little hit & miss. Puddings were a real let down in comparison to other places we had eaten. Overall clean and well located in the city walls.

Thank Michelle D

Konoba Dalmatino is located in the very heart of the Old Town Dubrovnik, at the Miho Pracata street, no. 6. Since the year 2010 Dalmatino offers alluring choice of fish and meat dishes. We promote localy grown products and the value of traditional dining- sitting down and enjoying a meal, as a counterballance to a growing "fast food" generation.
