This was a random stop for food without a single piece of research. Eating out at world famous locations are always expensive and often over priced and I kind of expect it somewhat. We chose the tiger prawn risotto and the beef steak risotto both...were tasty and well cooked. We did not have the waiter that seems to have got all the great reviews but ours performed the role well enough. Now comes the critical part they have only 2 choices for dessert both are terrible we had one of each the so called tiramisu was a lump of marscapone forced into a kilner jar with a tiny amount of a brown tasteless substance at the bottom of the jar. (If I were an Italian I'd have been outraged) if you like to eat marscapone straight from the container then you will likely enjoy it. The alternative was another lump of marscapone (ridiculously named as a mousse) with a chopped fruit/sauce of some sort on top, my partner took one spoonful let me try it and then we both left it because it tasted like the fruit had been frost bitten and the flavour was unrecognisable. We have agreed these were the worst desserts we have ever had in our lives. So bad that I feel I need to place a review as a warning to anyone that reads this. I'd like to link a YouTube video on how to make a genuinely lovely tiramisu so the responding owner could watch it and learn something, but I'm not sure TripAdvisor allows this so I won't try.More

We went for lunch and took 2 salads as main course : burrata cheese salad and octopus salad. They were both good but too small for what I expected because server said they were « big salads ». For the burrata one, I was disapointed to have...only small pieces instead of an entire one. But it was good and fresh, server was very kind (more then many other places in town !). I only tought I would have more for the price.More

We stumbled across this restaurant when meandering through the streets and alley ways of Dubrovnik and what a lucky find it was. We walked past just as the waiter was serving food to a group of young Americans. One look at their plates was enough...to convince us to stop and sit down. Very attentive staff, lovely authentic Italian food and a great people watching location made for a perfect evening. Well worth a visit.More

We happened across this lovely restaurant on the first day of our stay and were not disappointed. We both had a gorgeous octopus salad with gorgeous bread and it was one of the beat we have ever had, and we have had a lot! The...next day we wandered around perusing other menus but nothing looked as lovely as this restaurant so we went back. I had tunar tartar and this time the Turkish style bread was really complimented by their tasty olive pile. You won't have a bad meal here. The staff are so friendly and attentive but not overly so that they let you enjoy your meal. The location on the backstreet is slower pace than the main drag but you can people watch. We loved this little gem. Highly recommended.More

Fantastic dinner in beautiful setting in the narrow side streets of Dubrovnik old town. Our waiter was friendly and welcoming, and our meals were delicious.

🔥🔥🔥Was good restaurant, food is correct. Ordered beefsteak with humus, and some chesse selection. I lohe that humus ! White wine from Dalmatia . Monica was very great and gentle to serve, she also told us about Croatia. 🇭🇷We will come back.

This lovely restaurant is off the main thoroughfare and is one you might not find unless by accident as we did. So pleased we did as it was magnificent in every respect and we would recommend anyone coming to the old city to visit Nico’s...for wonderful food, wine and service.More

This amazing little place produces some amazing food.. its a big place in the old town so to find this was a gem of a find and one that even the coffee tates like velvet. Staff are so friendly and accommodating.
