Very impressed with the food, atmosphere and service. Two of the party had the catch of the day which was sea bass. I had the veggie burger - best I’ve tasted. Very well presented and we were looked after exceptionally well by Branko. We had...a local wine - Chardonnay Rosenberg which was surprisingly good. We were seated overlooking the harbour. We moved to front of restaurant after meal and enjoyed the piano player. A wonderful night creating wonderful memories.More

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, great live jazz and delicious food and wine. We started with drinks for lunch then had the local wine with lunch , the pasta Al a Norma was with home made two tone penne and the perfectly balanced tangy sauce. The steak...tartare came with a mountain of fresh rocket , zingy mustard dressing and a focaccia that was floating off the plate. Only downside was the coffee, Costa instead of the rich local brew.More

The food and wine is really good and the service is exceptional- friendly, prompt and helpful. Their homemade ice cream is the best we’ve had anywhere. There is usually live music and we have been several times and always good.

Excellent meal with friends, lovely atmosphere. Our waiter Zvone, who requested not to mention him by name*, moves with a speed and agility the likes of which we have never seen before. Brilliant service with a smile. Tuna and the Sea Bass highly recommend. 👍...*definitely wanted us to mention him by name. 😜More

Food was really nice. Staff were lovely (Adam served us and was brilliant). Location is great for a long lunch or dinner. Recommend asking for a table out back as this is away from passing tourists and get a good view of the port.

Thank & deep appreciations to Mr Zvone who truly made our evening. Although we didn’t eat much, from the point of wine, we were offered local wine, which is truly our taste and is advised by Zvone. The music was fabulous, we even danced. Poklisar...Restaurant is recommended by all means.More

Our evening at the Poklisar Restaurant was the experience of a lifetime! Not only a Michelin experience, but a James-Bond moment if there ever was one, as captured by the private dining terrace over-looking the port. We were warmly greeted by the manager Danisel introducing...us attentively to the wines and culinary flavors and dishes inherent to the southern Croatian cuisine. Our waiters Vlaho and Branko were professional, spirited, and attentive...service unparalleled to what we receive at home The slow cooked pork loin was "to live for". This establishment should be visited by all. Thank you Croatia! Dr. Peter and Anne Schmid, Colorado USAMore
