In Dubrovnik dialect "poklisar" means Ambassador . This explanation every client can see written in front of him. The restaurant and the service are ambassadors of traditions and good food of Dubrovnik. Excellent view to the old port. Excellent cuisine!

Caught by the pretty waitress and the promise of live piano and violin I had a beautiful evening watching the earls go by. A really creamy prawn risotto was the highlight. Some of the food may be average but my choices worked out very well alongside a decent house wine and helpful staff.

The food was OK, nothing special. However the service was poor and the prices was a little stiff. They also charge 14kuna per person just for the table, havnet experienced that at any other resturants in dubrovnik... On the plus side the location and music made a very good atmosphere.

We had sea bass and grilled squids for our meal. Service was polite but we were disappointed with the food. It was rather over-priced for the size of the portion and quality of it. One extra-point for the gelato they sell though.

Nice free bread with a pate to start. We ordered water and drinks when we sat down. Drinks came but had to chase up the water 3 times for about 20 minutes before we got it. Mojito wasnt a proper mojito. They got our order wrong so brought us half a pizza each instead of 2. They said they would... More

The food was good, but the waiter tried to scam me for 160 kuna, overcharging my bill with 4 ice coffes that I didn't order. Besides that they charge(or they've charged only me) with 56 kuna for something that they've explained to be "table setup" which basically meant that he had set up the table and brought the food +... Situated in the wonderful harbour of Dubrovnik and with fantastic music, this is truly a great restaurant. The service was great and the food was wonderful. A man was playing the piano and singing and shortly after there was a lady playing the violin, it was truly wonderful and completed the scene very well. They gave us this lovely Tuna... More

We had lunch here on two occasions. Each time the meal was excellent. Although very popular and busy the service was exemplary. Waiters were well informed about the menu (which was varied and interesting). The view was amazing across the bay and Old Town walls. We loved it.

Our tour group was booked for an early dinner. We had preordered with a choice of two meals. Service was very disorganised and rushed. Food was average. We were allowed 2 drinks and a coffee or tea. This was ok but when my friend ordered a cappuccino that wasnt allowed. So she asked for milk and was told she would... More
