Charming location tucked away. Not a huge menu but we had the pork medallions and the duck breast which were full of flavour. I'd also recommend the homemade ravioli starter. Wine was local and excellent. Not cheap but worth the price. Staff were friendly and service was quick.

Tucked down one of Dubrovniks many alleys, this restraint has a small but excellent menu. The food is beautifully presented and extremely tasty. Great for al fresco dining - even in a monsoon. One to visit

Had a wonderful evening here! Nice and quiet for a romantic dinner for two. The service was great, very friendly and accommodating. The food was good, but could have been better. Our mains (we had the fish plate for 2) were cold very quickly and it would've been better if the mussels were served in some kind of pot to... More

We came here on our final night in Dubrovnik and it was wonderful! At first we didn't even realise that the restaurant is outside as it is nestled in a sort of sheltered/covered alley way. The atmosphere was really cosy and intimate, patio heaters and blankets keep you really warm. We were given a basket of bread whilst we waited... More

We happened across this little restaurant on a trip to Old Town. We made us think the place was almost all booked out, but in reality no-one that had booked a table appeared if they existed! Its set in a courtyard with gentle music playing over the tannoy. We ordered a pasta starter and a meat main. Duck for my... More

The service was great and the food was delicious too! Great selection of wine too! The best thing though was the location - so class to the Stradum and the hustle and bustle of it yet so quiet. We loved the courtyard dining! Our best meal of the trip by far!!!

The outside dinning area is comfortable and atmosperic. The food was generally good, the service was professional without being particularly friendly and like all reasonable restaurants in the old town it was over priced in terms of the quality of what's on offer. Our starters, the trio of fish and the home made ravioli were really good, the tuna and... More

This restaurant is set in an alleyway and is quiet yet close to the main square in the old town. The waiter was attentive, friendly and gave good advice. My sea bass fillet was excellent and my husband's pork medallions possibly even better. Prices seemed reasonable for Dubrovnik. Recommended.

We had dinner on our last night in Dubrovnik at Marco Polo, it was the best meal we had all holiday! Lovely atmosphere, being off the street it feels more exclusive than other places in Dubrovnik. Service was excellent and the food was cooked perfectly (we had the black risotto and the Kublai Khan Steak). Would recommend anyone to visit.... More

This place is hidden in an alley way sandwiched between apartments, but don't let the looks fool you. The food is super fresh and amazingly tasty. We had the whole sea bream and the whole sea bass (we ate here twice for dinner) and it did not disappoint! It's almost like a hidden gem so you do need reservations for... More

Hidden gem in the hearth of Old Town Dubrovnik!Restaurant Marco Polo is hidden in the hearth of the Dubrovnik Old Town, in a traditional courtyard of street called Lučarica. Small family restaurant is placed in a private and calm ambient and it offers oasis of busy streets to taste fish, meat and vegetarian specialties of the house. Here is the place where you can taste both traditional recipes from our grandmothers like mussels and seashells in traditional red or white sauce called ‘’Buzzara’’, traditional Black risotto or some of our modern dishes like Tuna Steak Precious Blue in sesame crust.Sharing our food and culture with people all around the world is inspiration for us. We use ingredients like Adriatic tuna, octopus, homemade anchovies, Croatian cheese, Oysters from Ston, extra virgin olive oil from Island of Korčula and lot of herbs to present you taste of our cuisine and culture.Accompanied with excellent Croatian wine, beer and homemade liquors be sure you will experience our past and future on a plate.
