We struggled to find our own way to where the really good food and wine was in Old Town Dubrovnik and we found it here! We stumbled on this place just around the corner and seconds after leaving yet another tourist trap in frustration. The...More

We ate here twice recently, small menu but great quality food that offered something a bit different. Both times I had fish but other family members had duck and steak. Worth a try.

Exquisite food, and beautifully presented. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. Recommend to friends and family. Duck was succulent and tender. The sea bass was to die for.

The restaurant is essentially a passageway between two buildings, and it was very pleasant sitting there on a very hot day. The food was good but on the expensive side, and we waited forever for a very straightforward lunch. Excellent fries

Stumbled across this restaurant after walking around the city walls. It was away from the crowded streets so we were really able to relax and enjoy our food. We had the lollipop chicken and the vegetarian noodles; would recommend both.

Hubby and I had an early dinner here a few days ago. Chose it because it was rated for vegetarian and vegan options. We were given a complimentary shot glass aperitif of carrot soup which was really nice and very welcomed! I had a vegan...More

Hidden gem in the hearth of Old Town Dubrovnik!Restaurant Marco Polo is hidden in the hearth of the Dubrovnik Old Town, in a traditional courtyard of street called Lučarica. Small family restaurant is placed in a private and calm ambient and it offers oasis of busy streets to taste fish, meat and vegetarian specialties of the house. Here is the place where you can taste both traditional recipes from our grandmothers like mussels and seashells in traditional red or white sauce called ‘’Buzzara’’, traditional Black risotto or some of our modern dishes like Tuna Steak Precious Blue in sesame crust.Sharing our food and culture with people all around the world is inspiration for us. We use ingredients like Adriatic tuna, octopus, homemade anchovies, Croatian cheese, Oysters from Ston, extra virgin olive oil from Island of Korčula and lot of herbs to present you taste of our cuisine and culture.Accompanied with excellent Croatian wine, beer and homemade liquors be sure you will experience our past and future on a plate.
