very nice location next to the fort with the sea lashing at your feet around old walls. the natural beauty to sit with a drink and do nothing makes this place worth a visit.

Lovely location. Great reasonably priced food. Friendly helpful staff. We returned a number of times during our visit to Dubrovnik.

View is interesting close the black water bay of Game of thrones. However prices are quite high - equivalent of 47€ per person with a starter / main and a beer. And apparently the digestive was offered to other tables but not for all, we...had to request it, a shame.More

We stumbled upon this location after visiting the Love Stories museum and they gave us a 10% gift card for the Orhan Restaurant. When we arrived the place was packed, but a very nice waiter named Marco told us to take a seat in the...nearby bar and wait for a table. he called us in after 10 minutes and we were seated. The first course they brought was complementary fish pate with warm bread. it was totally amazing. then we had the seafood pasta and the shrimps with tomatoes - delcious and a very good white house wine. We finished the evening with a creme brule dessert that was heavenly. The staff - Marco and Maroje were extremely nice and gave us a 5 star service. I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone!More

Amazing experience, starting with a warm welcome. Great views of the old town walls and water. Table of 8 and all dishes were spectacular, the best we tasted in Dubrovnik. House wine was very tasty. Fantastic experience.

As a vegan with a seafood/ meat eating husband it was not easy to find restaurants to cater for both of us, we had our first meal at Orhan at lunch overlooking the old town and a beautiful beach. Food was really good, we both...left happy with full bellies and the view and ambiance was stunning - take me back to this time last week!More

Our local hostess recommended Orhan and the restaurant did not disappoint. It is just outside of the Old Town Pile Gate right on the water! Wonderful view of the water, fort, and old town. Food was great and everyone in our group really enjoyed the...meal! We highly recommend it as a great option vs. the very crowded spots inside of Old Town.More

We are both Coeliacs and needed to eat safely (many restaurants in Dubrovnik will tell you they are gluten free, but when you question them closely, their fries are contaminated with gluten material). This was no problem for Orhan - on both occasions we visited...they swapped fries for rice and grilled vegetables, stressing that all was fine. And it was. We have had two delicious meals there, safely, and the setting is truly fabulous. On our first night, I had the black risotto and my husband had the mixed meat platter. Both were stunning. Tonight, we both opted for the mixed meat platter and we weren’t disappointed. If you need gluten free food, or even if you’d like good value tasty food, go to Orhan. The value of the food (and the view from the restaurant) is second to none in comparison with the pricey alternatives inside the city walls. We loved it!More

Everything was so so. Or bad. Prices are okay, but not for the food that you get. Shrimps were great, but not easy to take out, rice were uncooked. When we asked for another portion of rice - it wasn't cooked. Pasta were normal, not...extra ordinary. Vegetable risotto was to salty, but eatable. What was quite disgusting - spoiled radish and not very good salad leaves :') 3 stars for warm bread and staff - they were quite friendly. I would not recommend to come here if you want to have a really nice dinner :)More

Our apartment host had recommended this place, but we only made it on the last day and just had time for a quick drink but the beer the waiter recommended was one I had never encountered in Dubrovnik before and as luck would have it...it was the best! Shame I discovered this too late. Restaurant has a wonderful view [but it's nice inside too] and this little corner feels less crowded and busier than inside the city walls, in summer I can imagine it being rammed though. Really wish I had had time to try the seafood.More

We came to this place for a late dinner. I like the place. It's by the seaside/waterside. The waiters speak English. The food was okay.

Pricey food: The meat was tough, the food was cold and even the french fries were bad. The staff was nice and helpful. The atmosphere was nice, too.

It started really promising. We arrived, and were seated at the requested table in front of the port. The view is spectacular. The waiter was quick and polite in taking our orders (mixed salad with feta, vegetable plate and dalmatian ribsteak). We got a nice...tuna pâté from the kitchen, which I enjoyed very much, but my partner could not eat (being vegetarian). There was no time to mention this but since we asked for the vegetarian options we thought we would get sth. more suitable. The mixed salad was good, accompanied by some delicious bread. The main course arrived with the vegetables being lukewarm and my steak being badly sliced (different thickness) and therefore varying between well-done and raw in the center. So we both left a considerable amount on the plate. When having the next opportunity we told the waiter and he apologized, but didn’t do anything more. We then asked for the bill which again took quite some time to arrive. Since it has been our most expensive dinner so far (still ~60€ seems reasonable) it was all in all a little disappointing.More
