This restaurant was an absolutley amazing experience. First tip, it is on an island so you should plan your transport ahead of time. We chose a private boat transfer since our outing was for a special occasion (but this is more expensive and I would probably suggest using a ferry to get there from Dubrovnik). Villa Ruza is one of... More

We had a wonderful lunch here yesterday arranged by dubrovnikboatrentals.com. The staff were very attentive and friendly and all the food was delicious, especially the fresh fish of the day. Fantastic setting and a highlight of our holiday.

Everything was perfect with the spectacular meal of fresh homemade bread, fresh grilled fish and a wonderful appetizer starter. Finished off with an incredible cheesecake dessert that was not too rich. Service was top notch- attentive yet un intrusive. We spent the rest of the afternoon idling on the lounge beds with coffee while reading our books. Definitely worth a... More

We visited after the storms on Saturday night and had one of the best nights of my life. The speed boat to the restaurant. ... the skipper ..... the food .... the service .... the location..... everything was amazing. Special thanks to nikolina .... whose customer service went above and beyond. Me and my husband will remember this night forever... More

On our second visit to Kolocep I promised my wife that I would take her there as we missed out, the year before. The location has to make it one of the best restaurants in the whole of the Adriatic - now that's a big claim! Every table gets a sea view and the restaurant is orientated so that everyone... More

We visited here on my birthday as a surprise from my partner. We had our own waiter who met us from our boat trip and the staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. My partner had organised for them to bring red roses and tea lights which was lovely. The setting itself was stunning as you can watch from their... More

My partner and I visited this restaurant mid way round a jet ski tour of the Eliphiti islands, we rocked up looking quite bedraggled and certainly not adhering to even the loosest of dress codes but they were more than happy to show us to a table. We sat outside with a fantastic view of the sea and the islands,... More

We noticed this terrace on our way to Lopud from ferry and people told us that it is very nice restaurant. We decided to visit it for dinner and to enjoy sunset. We booked via email, and restaurant owner arranged for us private transfer which was a very stylish arrival :) Welcomed by our waiter on the restaurant pier, seated... More

Just finished a visit to Villa Ruza for lunch. Lovely setting on the sea front with great views over neighboring islands. There were only 6 tables occupoed and 7 stagg working the floor. We shared a prawn tempura which was delicious and thought this was the sign of things to come. It wasn't...we waited for over 25 mins for our... More

This place is a bit of an enigma really; it is open from noon each day but they make no effort to get guests in and don't even have a sign on the gate - if you didn't know it was there you'd think it was some ones house to start with. However this is what made it so magical... More
