I booked Villa Ruza weeks in advance for table of 4 for a friend’s birthday celebration. The communication was first class, sent the menu in advance, very responsive too. The management reserved us their best table on the pretty terrace. The Riesling was OUTSTANDING, we...More

Location and service is excellent. Our food arrived a little on the cool side and the signature calamari was a little bland, however it was presented beautifully with the best intent. The old city of Dubrovnik is a must see

Small restaurant so best to reserve a table. The food was very good however a little over priced considering the slow and less than attentive service. Nice outlook.

They charged 12 euros for a one inch slice of cheese and half a cherry tomato. I am not joking. They also charged for the parmesan to garnish my rice. The food took a very long time and they were "out of" all but the...More

Top quality food with a superb view across the picturesque old town. We loved our mains and dessert, with the amazing local cava to wash it down. Some previous reviewers had complained about the service but we certainly don’t share that view. It was a...More

Nice dinner on a terrace. The four adults all very much enjoyed their meals, the five children - not so much. The squid ink risotto and the sea bass with salt were the standout items.

Villa Ruza is about as far off the beaten track as you can get in Dubrovnik, which isn’t far at all but it took us a little while to locate it, tucked around a corner behind the Cathedral and just past the Cathedral Treasury. We...More
