Taj Mahal’s sister restaurant opened in 2013 in Hotel Lero. With it, we finally got the space and freedom to present our guests what the Bosnian cuisine is really about. The moment you step in, you are transported into another world. Sevdah music and traditional Bosnian home cuisine, stories we love to share with you and special selection of sweets and liquors in an ambient that blends the modern comfort with staple features of the Bosnian architecture-all of this becomes part of your experience. We want our every guest to have their own experience. That is why our menu is designed to cater too many needs. Among others you will find many tasty vegetarian dishes and our staff are always happy…
This restaurant was right next to my hotel, so I ended up there already the first evening. Suffice it say that I came back every evening for the next 7 days, eating dinner there 6 times. The point is: you get Bosnian traditional food, and...More
Thought we’d give some Bosnian food a try for something new... the main course was wonderful; we both had the gypsy kebab and it was delicious, with a side serving of warm bread - also very nice. I had a local cake thing for pudding...More
Excellent authentic Bosnian cuisine. Many people have commented on the service but I found it exemplary. Choose to go here rather than the old town one for a quieter meal and more efficient service. Highly recommended.
Visited this restaurant while in Dubrovnik in december. Since it wasn't a tourist season I didn't wait at all for food or the bill some people mentioned. You must consider taking time in Bosnian restaurants because their tradition is enjoying food slowly, drink traditional turkish...More
Along with other reviews the name conjures up Indian food but this is an authentic Bosnian Restaurant with the most magnificent food. Bosnian Pot is delicious along with the Polenta served Bosnian style. Service is a little slow at times.
They have typical Bosnian food which is very good! There are various starters, plates and deserts. We had the tomato soup for starters which was absolutely divine! The Bosnian pot was fantastic too and for desert the panacota which they call creamy pudding was delicious...More
In spite the misleading name this restaurant, located next to Hotel Lero, offers both authentic Bosnian food and atmosphere. Though we had not made a reservation we were seated at a table outdoors and promptly served. However they seemed to have forgotten us after the...More
With a name like Taj Mahal most people from the U.K. would expect this to be an Indian restaurant- it’s not - it’s Bosnian.
We dined here twice as we were staying at the Hotel Lero. Both meals were very good. Lots of kebab based...More
We went here whilst staying nearby in Dubrovnik, and we liked it so much we had to go back! There is a vast menu which caters for vegetarians. Our favourite dishes were the cheeses to start and then the 'rice pilaf with radicchio'. The G&T's...More

My sister and I shared a club sandwich which was adequate for a light lunch. The waiter was happy to split the single serve, we had a good serving of fries on the side too. The menu catered to authentic Croatia food. There were some very interesting meals arriving at tables beautifully presented in tangine style pots. I feel you could be adventurous and be very satisfied. The staff are excellent.
