Me and my partner had a great time. I had the pork chop and cheesecake and my partner had the veal and brownie. The steak was about 80 kunas per 100g with the start being about 600g. No way we were paying for that. The...veal was cooked well but it was a bit fatty and not that exciting. My pork chop was perfection though. Great bout of food envy there lol. The cheesecake was alright but it didn't set hearts ablaze however the brownie was excellent. My partner loves chocolate and for the first (probably last) time ever, I heard her say that's enough. There was beautiful and romantic live music covering quite a range of songs from The Police to Bill Withers. The whiskys were great including the lagavulin 16 and a local grappa that we both savoured. Like I said, a great night.More

Had an excellent dinner at Ma Toni on a bachelor trip. The food and service was excellent. Enjoyed a great singalong with the guitarist too!

For our last night in Split we ate here and it was simply terrific! We had a couple of their specials and some drinks for a very reasonable price. Well worth it!

I went here for a business dinner and everyone present enjoyed the food and the ambience. Also, the wine was perfection. We had multiple stakes and they were 10/10, side dishes were very interesting and tasty, just like the salad. I had tagliatelle ai frutti...di mare and it was ok (I am a huge pasta enthusiast so my bar is set really high). However, there were some negatives: there wasn’t enough staff at the restaurant so you could see that young waiter serving us (and the rest of the restaurant) was a bit nervous at the times. Normally, if I went there not business related, I wouldn’t mind, but it was kind of a really special dinner and I was the one that chose and booked the place so I was stressed just looking at him running from table to table. They had wine list, but only one red wine available, which was a bit strange. Although REALLY nice, our waiter didn’t know how to pour the wine properly, I just hope I was the only one that noticed that. All in all: excellent food, but because of the service, which was friendly but understaffed, I wouldn’t suggest it for a business dinner. It is more suitable for a relaxed family or couples meal.More

We absolutely love this place the menu offers a wide selection of meat dishes along with delicious home made pasta and salads. Always a multi visit on our trips to Split. The staff are extremely helpful and attentive. They also have a lovely wine shop...with some delicious local wines.More

Nice overall experience but it feels like portions should be bigger, especially for those prices. Tataki tuna was delicious, desert fudge was average.

Very nice place, well worth the visit. The staff is very friendly and the wines are good and the food is amazing. All the beef dishes from the grill are very tender and smokey, really nicely done. I'd highly recommend this place.

This place is amazing, the decor and atmosphere is beautiful. The restaurant is small so please book ahead, we didn’t book but they managed to get us in if we waited 20mins (no problem at all, went for a drink in the hotel over the...road). The food is amazing and the staff were brilliant. We had a main and pudding each, shared a bottle of wine and had a liqueur each at the end for only £48. We are gutted we found this place on our last night or we would have been back.More

I read the previously written reviews, saw the pictures and wasn't expecting to satiate my hunger due to portions on pictures appearing very small. Boy was I proved wrong! After having Asado De Tira, I was so full that I just couldn't finish my dessert...(fudge). Both portions were quite satisfying for an average adult and the taste couldn't be better in my opinion. I must add that I also tasted Tuna Tataki and was very pleased with the taste, even though I never liked tuna. The service was also very friendly, even took pictures of us on request. All in all, much like the Terminator: I'll be back. P.S. I'm a celiac and I felt pretty safe. The gf bread was to die for!More

A delightful experience. Delicious food only sourced from Croatia as are the wines. A very authentic feel to the old restaurant with superb lighting to enhance the ambience. The service was exemplary with one main waiter for a crowded restaurant but doing it with style...spending time with every customer explaining the menu and wines. A place not to miss.More

Just surprised this isn't rated even higher. The best meal we had in Split and we had some really good ones. Beautiful decor in what I think is an old wine cellar. Recommend booking as it was full when we went. Great menu, pretty much...something for everyone. We had a cheese platter to start. Beef prosciutto and Truffle Tagliatelle, Beef cheek risotto and 2 excellent desserts. Top quality food at a fair price. Service was good, relaxed, friendly and professional. Faultless.More

We went for dinner and it was one of the best dining experience in Croatia. The starters (we ordered the Meat bite and Cheese platter) were absolutely delicious. The bread was straight out of the oven, -- just the right temperature... The main courses were...excellent. The raw cake is highly recommended for dessert -- a great experience -- Bravo to the teamMore

What a dramatic experience. The meat was so incredible tough and dry. We confronted the chef/owner with this and he reacted so rude that he was a good chef and did nothing wrong. He didn’t want want to compensate anything or serve us another dish....The service and communications of the waiters were also very bad. We were with six people and all of us will never go again to this awful restaurant. Every other restaurant in Split is better than this one.More
