Loved this little cave tavern- great location close to our hotel! Service fab and food delicious! Bring cash for tip, as in Croatia they don’t add this to card payment... Bon appetit!

Highly recommended! Very delicious food & perfect service! - romantic atmosphere - their own olive oil with short explenation by the waiter - local food (exactly what a „Konoba“ shall be) - great home made pasta, adriatic shrimps and octopus - wine: „Grk“ by Radovanovic...is recommendedMore

The tuna starter was really good and their dry-aged ribeye was also good. The risotto was nothing special but their local Volarević red wine was delicious.

My friend and I went to have a dinner to Matoni without making our reservation in advance, but the kind waiter found one table for us without any hesitation, this was the last table available at this restaurant, so our first impression was great! We...had high expectations for the food, and delicious and well prepared food even exceeded our expectations! Vine suggestion was perfect! I don't remember the names of the dish we had but everything was so delicious. The staff was so kind and friendly and they made us feel so welcoming. Our experience was perfect and we can definitely recommend this place to anyone! Thank you Matoni!More

We ate mostly stakes, they were very well prepared..but the service was so poor that it kind of ruined the experience. Waiter with no manners in a shirt and jeans, not looking at guests while talking, suggesting that everything on the menu besides stakes comes...in very small portions and that it's not advisable to order. Again, stakes were very tasty, but I believe a restaurant with high grades should have at least propper service. I was dissapointed..More

Very good restaurant with high quality food. It was recommended to me by locals and it was a good choice. They serve local food with a twist. Service is great and would definitely come back.

The best restaurant in Split. If you are looking for romantic place, you must go to Matoni. Starter, main dish and cake were amazing. Wine too, amazing. I like restaurants with live music. Not too much noisy, just enough. You can speak normally. If you...are in Split, you must see Konoba Matoni, you will feel like you are at home.More
