A bit far from the touristic area and in a hidden street both worth the walk! Good food, limited Mexican options but the ambience and service makes up for all that! Definitely recommended!

Bistro Toc is just out of town but is worth a visit. We reserved a table for two on the little deck in the alleyway. They do a mix of Croation and Mexican dishes and we chose the latter for a change. We shared Nachos with cheese, guacamole, cream and salsa, which were delicious, followed by Beef Borrito and Chicken... More

Used Tripadvisor for our last meal here in Split. Bistro Toc is set in a street behind the port just up from the market. Sit outside, it's much nicer than inside and call ahead to book, only just got squeezed in here! The food was lovely. I had the fish which was Seabass with swisschard and sliced potatoes, it was... We sat down here because we were close by waiting for someone, we were thinking of yust having drinks but ended up eating because everything on the menu looked so good.. Ended having the Suprime nachos (we weren't that hungry) that were just great, two of us split the portion, and if you ordered it for one person you could... More

We came to Bistro Toc after hunting for vegetarian food in Split for my friend. I opted for chicken quesadillas and my friend went for the veggie nachos. Whilst these were both perfectly pleasant, there was a lack of Mexican spice or flavour for us. The place was pretty busy, the service was good and desserts we had after our... More

This place has a nice buzz, good service, and well prepared food. They serve up food with a Mexican twist, which is tasty, but not spicy enough for my English palate. Some nachos to share, a main course each and a beer or two cost about £15.00 per head, so fairly good value, and good location close to the ferry... More

I was in the mood for something light, and read great things about Bistro Toc, which was super close to where I was staying, and therefore incredibly convenient. I ordered the Greek salad and proceeded to enjoy the creamiest, most delicious feta cheese of my life (and I've been to Greece!). The server was super attentive, and the salad was... More

A week ago I was with a girl in this restaurant because we read that they have great food for vegetarians. We tried the veggie wrap and seitan salad. They have corn tortillas if you are allergic to flour as I do. The food was one of the best we have to break our journey through Austria, Italy, Slovenia and... More
