First of all it's not called Creme de la Creme anymore, but Choco & Cafe. Something as obviously changed then and unfortunately not for the best.. we went there for the good reviews but were extremely disappointed: awful service, dirty tables, run out of what we ordered and well over priced. Definitely not going there anymore.

Was very disappointed with the quality of service, the waiter didn't acknowledge our arrival which could be that we took a table rather than waiting to be seated....wasn't very busy so addition of 3 more people would not have gone unnoticed you'd have thought. Nevertheless we finally attracted his attention and asked if we could order drinks and cakes, it... More

We sat in the sun for a while in the outdoors area without anyone passing by. Apparently the staff was busy doing nothing indoors. We went in to try to order and then it turned out they couldn't serve what was on the menu. Thank you and good bye!

I have been there few times and unfortunately this is wasted time and money. Cakes are just good looking but taste is avarage.

Delightful cafe situated just outside the famous Roman ruins of Dioclentian's Palace. Traditional Croatian fare including Splitska Torta which is not unlike a Viennese slice, although with more texture - from the crushed mixed nuts. If, like me, you are a chocolate fan, there are a fine selection of chocolate related cakes that do not disappoint. Once you've made your... More

The name has changed to something like Choco cafe, but we still found it, and the seating area on the square still says creme de la creme. We went into the storefront to pick our cakes. Sadly, no ice cream to go with, but great patient service as we perused all of the selections and asked questions about the ingredients.... More

I love this small pastry shop. I always stop after lunch there with my friends and have the best hazelnut cake, also the cheese cake is delicious. Surely the best cakes in Split.

The owners have changed. You can not have a free glass of watter with a cake anymore. In Split that is shameful because we have a beautiful clean watter from a pipe.

Their cakes are so expensive and to top that they overcharge for drinks. Coffee is terrible. Would not recommend

Creme de la Creme is a patisserie where you can enjoy exquisite French-inspired desserts, from colorful and delicate macarons to an extensive selection of cakes and tarts. We also offer you other popular international temptations such as cheesecake and tiramisu, but if your tastebuds crave for the traditional, splitska torta (Split Cake) awaits you, made using our grandmothers' recipes with all-natural, local ingredients.

The quality of raw materials comes as first priority and therefore, we are proud that our desserts are made exclusively with butter, eggs, natural sweet cream, quality chocolate, fresh fruits, and locally-sourced nuts. All desserts are hand-made from scratch, and our goal is to provide our guests and customers with sweet satisfactions, as that gives us satisfaction.

Other than desserts we also have a master barista on hand who proudly roasts his very own speciality coffee, promising the freshest blend for Creme de la Creme guests.

Creme de la Creme is tucked into Ilicev prolaz, a passageway just off the Marmontova shopping street. At the end of the passageway, we offer outdoor seating on the charming Morpurgo Square.
