We had a spectacular meal at Zrno Soli, a six course tasting experience, all courses balanced and expertly paired. The grilled sea bass is rivaled only by the black cod at Le Bernardino in New York. Our waiter, Ivan, was superb. Highly recommended and memorable

Enjoy being at the edge of the harbor and the view. The place has a good feel to it Too bad about the smoking but it is like that all over Split. Service for us was good and professional. The local white wines suggested were...also good. The St Peter fish was fresh and good. Also the mixed seafood appetizers and the branzino carpaccio. Enjoyed the black jakob scallops and the St. Stephen seafood risotto. The burattina and boskarin just ok, the scampi so so. It is a hit and miss with this place but you do have some very good choices. The Bocel in Trogir is another level but in Split this is pretty much the best choice for seafoodMore

What a Beautiful setting, we booked well in advance to secure a terrace table and was not disappointed. We opted for the tasting menu along with wine tasting-so glad. Good was delicious and the staff attentive and friendly. Nothing seemed too much trouble.

We went on dinner and we enjoyed fully! The stuff was very nice and kind. But out favourite was dessert, chocholate bomb! Must to go while in Split!

I’ve chosen this restaurant to celebrate our special date. For that reason I’ve booked the table well in advance to get a table with a nice view. I have also asked for that the lady who confirmed my reservation. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were...invited to a small terrace with four tables on it (terrace is charming btw). Three of them were just at the edge with a marvelous view on marina and one was aside facing the plastic window or something. Of course we were offered this one. I asked for a table with a better view (two of them were free) but waitress Ivan denied me, claiming that to those tables come groups of three. We accepted it, however I don’t see a problem in moving the third chair to another spot. How disappointed I was to see, that in half an hour came another couple and they got a table I asked for previously! For a meal we decided to go with two tasting menus plus one wine menu (my husband was driving). As a first course we were served a selection of local olive oils with brad. Oils are good, but is that something you got your Michelin plate for? Really? Maybe I am not a gourmet enough... But wait, that is only half of the story. Another half is that the same oil selection is served to all guests no matter what they order. In other words with menu you get it as one course, without menu - as a compliment from the restaurant. Disgusting behavior! Finally to the bill was added brad. It is ok to add brad to the bill if you order it, but I am not sure if it is a good approach to add it after the waitress just brings it to your table. I would expect such approach in a local canteen of a small city in a post-soviet country, but not in the kind of restaurant that Zrno Soli is positioning itself! Btw the second table which we were denied of was occupied when we were already paying the bill. And after all this the waitress dared to ask for a tip. Frustrating! Food. 0. Compliment from the Chef. Nothing special - few nuts and a small pastry with cheese paste inside. My mom makes similar. 1. Olive oils. Already discussed. 2. Burrata with tuna sashimi, caviar from figs and cutter-fish ink. Marvelous! 3. Soup with black gnocchi and seafood. Perfect both serving and taste. 4. Octopus with hummus. Not really a big fan of hummus so just not my taste. 5. Two tiny shrimps with cauliflower purée. Is good. Was a bit oversalted to my taste, but the dish is full of flavor. 6. Cannoli. I like them, but it is not something you expect to get while paying 250€ for a meal. Same cannoli I can buy for 2,5€ on each corner.More

We went to this restaurant from the beach, our driver has recommended it. If only we knew where are we going...I would def come more prepared 🙂 the place, the quality of the service, the food... everything from top to bottom blew up our mind....100 out of 10!!! My husband works in this industry, and he would always notice those little things the staff would do wrongly. He was highly impressed!More

ZS is a small, port, casual restaurant. Had a little problem finding it - is located on the 1st floor of some kind of ”hotel”. Looks better than it sounds. The place has a nice view of the marina. The staff is super nice, gentle,...and helpful. Order: 1. Trikolori - 5/5 Three different spreads for freshly toasted local bread. Nice composition and taste. Good idea. 2. Fish soup - 3/5 So so. Nothing special. 3. Fresh squid (grilled), spinach, potatoes - 4/5 Expected something more but it was fine. Fresh, aldente squid. Grilled with some kind of smoked paprika - ok. A too-big portion (over 300g of squid). Composition of sides (blanched spinach and potatoes) were bad - mixed together. 4. Croatian pinot grigio - 4/5 Pretty interesting. Bill: 342kn (50€) Recommended for: casual, step-by lunch or dinnerMore

Yes there is, right in front of the main entrance. In the summer it might be difficult to find a free space though.
