We were offered a fresh fish from the market. It was like in the old days fres fish nicely prepared and tasty. The value for money is excellent. The service was friendly and cordial. Skip this place if you prefere fancy dishes of defrost fish with lot of add ons to cover that fact.

We were having a busy day and when we finally stopped there was Konoba Alantida right in front of us. it is a nice cozy place with eight or nine tables and a full bar. We ordered the beef soup to share, and I had the cabbage rolls while Brian had the goulash. The bread was excellent the goulash was... More

When we stopped for dinner this place was fairly empty, they had sports on the TV and the cook was also the waiter. Do not let any of this put you off. It was one of our best meals in Croatia and definitely the best value for money. The cook was still serving his lunch specials at dinner so it... More

Our first night in Split was a delicous experience with croatian food. We've ordered a tuna with grilles vegetables, risoto with shrimps and a big greek salad. An, last but not least, we also ordered a crotian white wine served in a large glasses. Well served and the waiter also tried to speak some words in Portuguese. So cozy.

So we came here after my girlfriend had read a review about this place stating 'the best steak I have ever eaten'. So we had to try it. Now, the steak was very good, a solid 8.5/10, but I've had better. So I just wanted to set that record straight for whoever thought it was the best ever. The restaurant... More

Had dinner here. Was told that they had some fresh sea bass. Ordered the dish, and the waiter suggested that chef makes a great fish stew( typically Croatian), and we should have it that way. Had some scampi thrown in and the result was an excellent dish for 2. Had to wait for a while but the waiter was great.... More
