This place is a bakery/ sandwich bar close to the Palace. Popped in for a sandwich for lunch the food was ok but the serving girls were really grumpy with no customer service skills at all, too intent chatting with each other and dissing me....I went to the Omlinar bakery up the street the next at and it was far, far better its a better choice.More
A local pointed this out as one of the best bakeries in Split. There are several in town, with reliably the best spinach bureks around. I tried many others at bakeries throughout Dalmatia and Bobis was the clear winner - light and flakey, never chewy....They also have soparnik, a traditional chard thin pie that makes a tasty mid-afternoon snack. The main location along the waterfront is busy and I'm guessing the service is a bit slow at the tables. I'm also assuming since they're a bakery, they won't be known for their ice cream. Grab something to go from the counter and stroll while snacking. Or look for their other locations as you're out and about and stop in for a quick bite.More
We on our way to our day trip to the islands off Split, and happened by the Bobis within Diocletian's Palace...what a find! Great chocolate croissants with vanilla filling with coffee provided a good start for our day out on the water. Reasonable prices, fresh...pastry, yum.More
