Donuts here are the best. There aren't enough superlatives. Come early to get your choice of donuts.

Stopped to get a sandwich to eat on our way driving up north. So many delicious treats, we got cookies, bread and a small pie too. Couldn't resist. Glad we stopped.

The Dutch Oven has amazing baked goods that are much better than average. You won't find grocery store donuts here. They have recipes that have been carried down for generations & the taste is second to none. They also have oatmeal, eggs, etc if your avoiding baked goods. Something for everyone here. I highly recommend the Dutch Oven!

Very nice little cafe. Ordered breakfast burrito, but sorta small for $8. Wife ordered French toast and received two big pieces. Pasties are $7, a bit pricey for this area. Their bakery had a great selections, and probably the best part of the restaurant. For what we paid, we would get more food for less at Brutus Camp Deli 5... More

I have loved this bakery for years. Best cinnamon bread ever! Get there early for fresh bread or get a fresh frozen loaf. Makes the best french toast!

There are a several unique European bakery items which are fantastic. The usual bakery items are there as well and all are done very well. This is one of my favorite bakeries in the area; well worth a short drive from Petoskey to Alanson.

Interesting bakery and eating place. Great bakery products! Cinnamon bread is fantastic, especially toasted. If they would sell or make their loaves 1/2 size, we would purchase more. Super taste but too much for small families or couples. Space needs upgrading as it is tired looking. Adjoining room has several tables for breakfast or lunch. Pretty Spartin looking. Booths would... They have a ton of pastries, and we definitely enjoyed the one we got. The breakfast, though, was pretty meh. There weren't many options and both of us ended up choosing the strata. I found myself thinking it would've been better to just order 2-3 pastries... although that's not the healthiest move. A nice little place, though, that was open... More

Found this shop through my Yarn Places app. Use front door and head to the right for yarn shop. Great inventory, although it would be helpful for customers to have pricing information and not have to ask. Samples, samples, samples galore! Great button selection. Treat yourself to some goodies before you leave. Worth the stop on the way to or... More
