A good option to dine if the 2 restaurants at Casa Santo Domingo is busy. It almost feel that you're inside the Casa Santo Domingo but you are not- restaurant needs some upgrading. Economical, good service and tasty food. The place is not quite tidy...especially toilets.More

We were caught in a “pop up” thunderstorm and ducked in for a quick bite. There were only 3 of us and then another couple came in for a coffee. So in total there were 5 guests in the restaurant. We ordered the Chicharronazo. Very...disappointing, the green salsa was bland and the chicharrón had a very strong unappealing aftertaste. When we went to pay there was an automatic charge for a tip. We tried to split the bill and the waiter said he couldn’t make change- but strangely enough he could make change when we paid in cash. Won’t be coming backMore

Not only were the traditional Guatemalan dishes delicious, but though we had made a reservation purposefully to sit on the 2nd story balcony deck, when it began to rain the staff quickly cleaned off a table in the busy indoor area to move us after...we requested.More

Tried this restaurant for the First Time in January 2019. We were craving a really great soup and this place was highly recommended by our TUK-TUK Driver..It was very good. I had a regional Beef and Vegetable Soup. Very Tasty. Highly Recommend it.

We were in Antigua for four days and tried this place on a tip from a local. The food & service were so good we went back a second time!

We ate here twice during a recent motorcycle tour through Guatemala. The service is really good and the food is great. We wanted authentic Guatemalan food and they serve it up here.

We passed this restaurant on the way elsewhere and it looked cute and the menu appealing. When other dinner plans didn't work out we came back looking perhaps good soup or a sandwich. I ordered the black bean soup. Unlike the black bean soup which...I'd had at La Posada De Don Rodrigo the night before which was rich, creamy, and beany and the best I've had, this crap was bland, watery and with only a rare bean. I didn't even finish it. Maybe the nachos supreme would be more satisfying? Not! I swear the cheese looked and tasted like Cheese Whiz! Terrible! The waiter noticed my uneaten bowl and I told him why. A decent restaurant would have comped it and offered a free dessert (not that we'd want anything else from this place!) but the waiter made no attempt. We ended up trying Pollo Comparo for a few nuggets to stave off our unsatisfied hunger. Much better!More
