Samsara is a place to feed your body and mind, we take food awareness in a very serious way, we focus on special super-food and special diets (vegans, gluten and lactose free). You can find the best of the two worlds, Hindu and native america food, special herbs grains and spices.

We liked the vibe of this place. It was clearly popular, it had nice decor and interior and the menu was bursting with wholesome and healthy vegetarian dishes. We tried the wok bowl and found it very pleasant. Prices were reasonable.
We found this small cafe/restaurant on our walkabout of Antigua and were attracted because it offered organic local produce and lots of vegetarian alternatives for one of our group who was a vegetarian. Great atmosphere and great food. Also sells lots of locally produce merchandise.
Four meals here in four days in Antigua - everything I tried was delicious, healthy and healing; the menu is extensive, ambiance cozy (pay attention the symbolism of decor and books ;), food made and served with love and smile .... big two thumbs up...from a rather picky vegan ;)More
I went to Samsara for breakfast and ordered the tofu scrambled, which comes with a small side of hummus and avocado slices. The food was SO amazing, full of flavors and with the right level of crunchiness on the vegetables. I also ordered a kale/banana/smoothie...that was very rich and silky like. Everything was delicious and prices were good for the size of the food ans its quality. Totally recommended.More

The best veggie tacos...I’ve ever had!More
Just thought that other members of this group would like to be aware of the fact that reservations at the samsara restaurant are essentially meaningless.
Since my Amiga’s Spanish is better than mine, I had her make us reservations by phone for yesterday evening 01:01/2020...at 7 PM at the Samsara for a table for three. The place was so crowded that they had people waiting in line outside the door. I thought that with the reservations I would be all right. Unfortunately, even though they had a reminder notice on a board near the cashier, it seems that they gave our table to someone at 5 PM, and didn’t want to ask them to leave.
To me, this is ridiculously bad business. They should have just told them by 6:45 that someone else was coming, and they just needed to pay and leave. Fortunately for me and my amigas, Pasta Nostra was also open, and we were able to get a table without reservations.
I’m going to give this restaurant a bad review on TripAdvisor, and go somewhere else for a few months. I like this restaurant, but if they won’t honor reservations, that’s a lack of customer respect I simply don’t intend to put up with. And posting this “review“ just so that others may know that if you hope to make reservations during some busy time like Samsara, you may want to have another restaurant or two in mind, because until this restaurant changes this attitude, your reservations are likely to be as meaningless as mine were.More
