On discovering this spot, I returned daily. This authentic Guatemalan fare is exceptional in terms of taste and value for money. I speak no Spanish and am vegetarian but managed to order successfully every time. The place is full of locals and buzzing with energy....More

I loved eating here and ate here about six or seven times while I was in Antigia. The staff are so friendly and are very patient with those who are beginners at speaking Spanish. The food is abundant, delicious and affordable. A must visit!

The food was amazing, the dining area was a little sketchy. If you want traditional, this is the place to go. I have a mold allergy and immediately started sneezing when we walked in. We haven’t had a better meal, though.

Walk up and order. Servers are very friendly. Food is amazing and only Q30 for a plate that comes with fresh made tortillas and a house limeade.

We went here after a recommendation from our accommodation host if we wanted 'Tipico' food. In Antigua, whilst there are some great food options, it wasn't that easy to find Guatemalan food and so we were glad that we came here. You order at the...More

Authentic spot for Guatemalan food. I had pollo de leña and rellenos. The cost was Q40, so this a is a good option if you just want something quick and inexpensive.

Very inexpensive but you'll need to have a good grasp of Spanish to order what you want. Meal comes with a non-alcoholic drink and the plates are substantial.

Good filling food at low, low, price. 30q for a quarter of roasted chicken, potatoes, and slaw with a drink! That’s about $2.50 US. The chicken was wood fire roasted before your eyes. Crowded large dining area on weekends but tranquil during weekdays. You have...More

From what we remember it was about £3 GBP for a meal. That’s half a chicken, potatoes, salad, bread and a drink.
