You get your choice of 3-4 meat options and sides, and they scoop it from big pots from the back kitchen and serve it to you. The food tastes great and is not expensive. Not fancy, just good, simple food.

I had wood roasted chicken with roasted potatoes, coleslaw and tortillas. Really good chicken and some of the best tortillas/ potatoes I had anywhere. Very cheap too, recommended

30 qtz for a large serving of grilled chicken (or other meats) with salad, potatoes, tortilla and comes with tamarind tea. Restaurant was large and very popular but food was served fast. Perfect if you're looking for a no-frills and delicious meal.

A good place for cheap eats. A roasted chicken dinner with potatoes, vegetables and an agua fresco was OK. Chicken was dry. No choice of leg quarter or breast. Cost about US$4. Bears were US$2. I went back to try the Pepian. That wasn't bad...More

This is a very ordinary restaurant, nothing special but at a fair price. You get what you pay. The meal costs 30Qzl, like US$4. The place is not organized, it take long time for them to take your order, it is difficult to find the...More

We had the chicken which is seasoned so nicely. It comes with roast potatoes, coleslaw and tortillas. We'd hiked up Pacaya during the day and wanted some quick food for a good price. It was super quick and Q80 for two of the above, a...More

This place has some of the best local food we have eaten in all of Central America! The portion sizes are huge and include a drink for only Q30! The staff are beautiful and do an excellent job. I got the vegetarian and asked for...More

We loved our visit to Rincon Tipico. The set menu for each day helps narrow down the choices, however they also have a few regular items on the menu like the roasted chicken. Food was great. The lemonade was even better. And the fact that...More

What I mean in my above answer about the wine is that the wine is expensive for the quality you get.
