The place is small and not appropriated for large groups. Party of four is ok. The food is excellent, the best portobello mushrooms ever. The fish delicious. The price adequate and you really could have a nice experience. The service regular. Probably what they have to improve is the restroom, clean but only one. I will come back.

A bit out of town but worth it. Nice menu selection with great food. Nice garden setting. Reasonable prices make this restaurant a favorite!

Thank God we got this tip. After one week of wonderful Guatemalan food, something different was welcome. Hector's Bistro is a small quaint place with an outstanding cuisine. We were smitten. We definitely will get back there next time we are in town

The steak & wine were both excellent here. The interior is lovely & cosy - the perfect setting for good red wine & steak!

We had a nice dinner here on a FRI night. The place is tiny but there were empty tables. We enjoyed drinks, dinner and dessert. My wife had the beef borginon and I had the fish special. Both were really excellent. The sea bass was some of the best fish I have ever eaten. The chef is clearly an expert... More

My husband and I just had a good lunch at this restaurant. It's very small, maybe 8 tables, I think it would be better to make a reservation. Very good location. We had the steak sandwich and it was very good.

Wonderful food. We ate robalo prepared two different ways and both were wonderful. They make these fried potatoes that are out of this world. Prawns were excellent and the crown jewel was the crime brûlée. The place is tiny but oh so good.

Was recommended by a friend from Guatemala and were we happy we went. The place is tiny but the food incredibly tasty and well prepared bistro fare. The corn soup was supperb (actually they told us the soup of the day was mushroom but instead they brought corn; we were quite happy with the change). The quiche and salad was... More

Amazing food ... everything on the menu is great. Had the beef tenderloin and creme brûlée. Very small place but great atmosphere with lots of candles.

I ordered portobello mushroom dinner. No vegetable accompanied the food.my husband ordered spicy shrimps.and payed maybe $25 for a bowl of smallish bowl of shrimp with no side dishes. Ok food but way too pricy.
