Location and contact

Delicious, delectable, fresh, organic...everything homemade and locally sourced. Located on the Central Park of Antigua, Cafe Condesa has been serving locals, nationals and international tourists alike since 1993. It's three outdoor dining areas plus three indoor spaces provide a colonial setting in which to enjoy a meal or a snack. Breakfast is served all day long and our famous "bottomless" cup of 100% Antigua grown coffee has been a mainstay. Come early morning for breakfast, late morning for homemade chai and a muffin, lunchtime for a lovely salad and soup, late afternoon for coffee and cake, evening for a glass of wine and a quiche. A friendly waitstaff and a homey, relaxed atmosphere makes

With several courtyards, it provides a nice break from the bustling central park of Antigua. We tried 6 different dishes for lunch, which where well prepared. Coffee, described as good in several reviews, disappointed a bit. Service was ok, though slightly slow even for the...More

With a morning departure from the airport, we were glad to see that Cafe Condesa opened at 7am. We were worried that they might not be ready to serve, but that was not the case. We were greeted promptly by the hostess and served two...More

I had to go to this restaurant because it was a favorite of mine anytime I have been there several years ago. However the food was just okay and the prices are high, which I expected being so close to the park. However, I just...More

I stopped for lunch....sándwich. It was not good. The only reason why I’m giving it a 3 because of location (convenient - across from park) and ambience.....beyond that nothing. So many other places to eat.

Right in the main square. Looks small from the outside but attractive and generous size inside with several small rooms. We both had different types of quiche which were as good as you can get anywhere. Others had sandwiches which they enjoyed.

Although it clearly caters to tourists, still it is worth the visit for the great food and garden atmosphere. Breakfasts are your usual options of eggs, or pancakes, but also include a Sunday brunch. The drinks are generous and the fried potatoes are wonderful.

The food here are okay, but nothing special. Prices are fair, and they have nice choices for both lunch and breakfast..

I honestly just walked by, not even knowing it’s significance among locals. Plain and simple, best food I’ve had in all Latin America. Stop by, you won’t be disappointed!

As expected, anything in the square is going to be pretty expensive compared to the rest of the city. That being said, the breakfast was good. We had to ask for more coffee, hard to catch waitress’ attention. There are lots of other little coffee...More
