Great food for and great portions for the price. I got the soup of the day, and the spinach quiche and it was delicious. My family got a potato leek soup with a Monte Cristo sandwich and Minestrone soup with a chicken breast sandwich. For both, it was too much food. They ended up taking half of the sandwich back to the hotel and having it for dinner. The place is quaint, friendly staff convenient if you return from a tour or happen to be by the main park.

Located on the west side of the Central Parque of Antigua, every one in my extended family enjoyed the breakfast and lunch dishes they ordered. Portions were “just right”, and the prices very reasonable even before you consider the location. Fruits and vegetables were very fresh. Menu is in Spanish on one page and English on the next. I can highly recommend this restaurant, as well as Antigua Tours, whose office is in this restaurant.

Located right on the square, this small cafe offered a wide selection of "international" options -- something for everyone, but not much that was Guatemalan. Ended up getting a bowl of Guatemalan turkey noodle soup with some great seasoning, plus a beet and goat cheese salad. Both were good. Not expensive.
They offer beer and wine as well as coffee, hot chocolate, fruit juices, etc.
Good service, although surprised that our waitress did not speak English given that this is a spot inundated with tourists. The menu was in both English and Spanish, so we did fine.
Attractive place with both indoor and outdoor dining tables. A pleasant place to grab a quick lunch before heading out to tourist some more.

We shared a sandwich (beef -good) and a bowl of minestrone soup (lacked flavor) next to an interior fountain courtyard. There is quite a bit of seating stretching back from the road. Service was slow at times, hard to get our check presented and paid. Overall, I would skip this place for a different experience.

The place is near the central park, very well located. The reception is good but could be better since the hostesses lack encouragement when greeting customers when they enter, and they also don't let you sit where you want, unless you arrive with the number of people necessary to occupy the tables, which seems to me in a certain way bad especially because the place was with few people. The service is good, I feel that the desire to provide a unique experience is lacking, either due to fatigue since we arrived at 5 in the afternoon or because there is no good feedback based on customer service. The coffee is of good quality and includes a complimentary refill. Their frappe is also rich and has a good texture, not too sweet. The cakes, only the 3 leches and one apple, seemed like good options since I tried the brownie and I was really disappointed, the ice creams are not a big deal.

We were recommended this place for a traditional breakfast but they don’t serve plantains, cream or cheese with your breakfast. Orange juice is artificial sunny d type, not freshly squeezed. Pretty patio dining area & nice employees.

This beautiful restaurant is just off the main plaza, easy to access. There are several small eating areas with gardens and fountains. The ambiance is great. We had the fresh guacamole which came with toast pieces instead of chips. It was very good. The sangria is delicious. And of course, the local beer, Gallo, the rooster. Highly recommended in the interesting city.

Excellent place for sandwich/salad type of lunch, right next to Plaza Central. We had a beef sandwich on a fresh roll and a “TLT” (BLT) on fresh~baked multi-grain bread. Both came with a cucumber salad . Very tasty, and fairly priced. The patio settings in a few separate areas are cool. Be sure to browse the shops within the building as well and be sure to get an ice cream at their small coffee counter. Very pleasant experience, indeed.
Can’t fathom why anyone would go to Wendy’s instead,

Huevos Guatemala style along with espresso.
Scrabbled eggs with tomatoes, fried potato’s and black beans. Nothing special.
Long space with several dining spaces and an equal number of stalls selling everything from health foods to trinkets.

You might walk right by this place, across from Parque Central, because it is a “little hidden.” However, this restaurant consisting of courtyards and a room is an oasis. It is a quiet sanctuary.
All of the food is delicious, but we especially like the tomato and spinach quiches. They are the best.
Their smoothies are the best in town.
The servers are friendly and professional.

Our Airbnb host recommend this place as a cozy place to grab a cup of coffee and comfort food. This was our first morning in Antigua and it was a perfect introduction to the city. Located in the main square, this place did not disappoint! We ordered breakfast and dessert, which is something we NEVER do! The food was so fresh, we had to try the yummy looking desserts. Don't miss this gem when you are in Antigua!

I have to say that I went to both the restaurant and the express. An excellent place in Antigua with local and international flavors. Starting with an excellent hot, rich and spicy soup that brought me back to life. Then a delicate Quinche Lorraine, very rich that softened the impact of the soup. The star was a delicious express to finish. I have to say that Guatemala had me worried because I hadn't gotten good coffee. I think it is a safe place to eat. Excellent service.

I've visited Antigua many times and I always, every time go to Cafe Condesa. It's been here forever and it's always good, delicious! Cafe Condesa has many types of food so all your cravings can be met. Great desserts, coffee, soups, breakfasts etc..I've never been disappointed. Don't leave Antigua without a visit to Cafe Condesa.
