My family and friends were in Antigua in November to celebrate my sister's wedding, and Fernando's cafe quickly became our go-to spot for breakfast and buying coffee to take back to our hotel (and back to the States- it's THAT good!). Fernando and his staff...were absolutely amazing, and the custom made trio of chocolate hearts we included in our guest welcome bags were to die for. Thank you for making our experience in Guatemala so wonderful. Highly recommend this cozy cafe!More

Walking from el Arco Santa Catalina found this hidden gem in a corner of Calle San Sebastian. When you go in it seems to be a small coffee shop where they sell ground coffee and chocolate, among other delights. But behind the shop they have...this beautiful interior garden with several tables and we got in just in time for breakfast. We had a great whole meal to start the day, nice hot coffee, fruits and vegetable juice, crepe egg and beans tortilla, and finally yogurt with granola and fruits. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and service was excellent. You should definitely come here for breakfast or brunch!More

I always come here when I’m in Antigua. They have a good, healthy menu, (but with some comfort foods, like cornflakes). The soup comes with a delicious homemade bread. They also sell coffee, chocolate and gourmet food and cosmetic items. As well, a Mayan woman...is always there weaving and selling her textiles.More

I had breakfast here twice; tipico with scrambled eggs and pancakes with fruit. Both were very good. Coffee Americano was strong and black, which is how I like my coffee, and was the best coffee I had in Antigue. They also sell coffee and chocolate.

I just went for a simple breakfast with granola and coffee. The coffee was really good, like the granola. You can have a seat in the beautiful patio and enjoy your morning.

We love going here for breakfast and of course the coffee. Ten of us dined on pancakes, French toast, crepes, and typical dishes. The service is nice, efficient and friendly. The courtyard seating is tranquil. Fernando is friendly and professional. We always buy pounds of...coffee to enjoy at home.More

The coffee is superb, and the dining in the courtyard is peaceful. The breakfast fare is simple but delicious. Try the crepes! A great way to get your day started. Great coffee and chocolate products in the shop. Worth a try!

Lovely spot to start your day + also popular with travellers that are studying Spanish to relax, get a tasty coffee, some food and practice their verbs! The staff are really lovely, the garden cafe is a beautiful spot and they have a cute store...where you can pick up fresh roasted coffee, some cacao nibs and other local goodies.More

Looks pretty tiny from the outside, you wouldn't know there's an oasis or the back. Delicious breakfast and the best coffee we've had in Antigua. Excellent service. Lots of artisan crafts, a woman is weaving purple thread on a loom close to us. I've chosen...some Sexy Orange Chocolate, which I've sampled. There's a resident cat who is curled up asleep. Loves every minute.More
