We stopped in for breakfast and had latte and iced mocha with our tipico breakfast. We had been here on previous trips and all I can say is this place does not disappoint. The coffee is out of this world good and our breakfast was...generous in size and delicious! We will stop back in before we depart Antigua!More

Had breakfast here twice and loved it! Juices are fresh and food was excellent- particularly the chocolate crepes which had fruit and granola in it - truly delicious. Generous helpings of fresh fruit with pancakes. Staff were very friendly. Also loved the setting in the...courtyard.More

We always come to this little gem for coffee and breakfast. You can get the best coffee in town and a delicious breakfast in a beautiful little courtyard. Fernando, the owner, is a nice guy and will show you around. The servers there are friendly...and professional. You can buy coffee, chocolate, and other items in their gift shop.More

I stayed in a Hotel nearby and ate breakfast every day for a week. Fernando is a gracious host. The food and coffee are both excellent and the chocolates are world class craftsmanship. Fernando roasts his own coffee and his own chocolate

Friendly service and great food. I had the tipico breakfast and soup of the day--delicious, fresh, simple and good. Coffee is nice, and there is a little shop inside that sells chocolates. Has wifi.

I think that this is the best coffee in town. I love the delicious breakfasts here: big fluffy pancakes, fresh fruit and juices, omelettes and crepes. The service is friendly and professional and chatting with Fernando is also fun. The courtyard setting is so peaceful....Their gift shop is awesome.More

I live in Antigua and this is one of my favorite places to go for coffee and or breakfast. I love the atmosphere. Fernando the owner is quite personable and I love visiting with Misha the Cat! Coffee is excellent and it's a great place...to pick up a bag of coffee and a bar of chocolate to take home. The location is a bit off the beaten track but worth the walk to 7th avenida norte. You won't regret your visit. The Desayuno Tipico is a great value.More

Popped in for a beverage and discovered a great coffee and snack establishment with lovely interior courtyard dining space supervised by a friendly feline! Great brownie and cortada coffee too.

My family and friends were in Antigua in November to celebrate my sister's wedding, and Fernando's cafe quickly became our go-to spot for breakfast and buying coffee to take back to our hotel (and back to the States- it's THAT good!). Fernando and his staff...were absolutely amazing, and the custom made trio of chocolate hearts we included in our guest welcome bags were to die for. Thank you for making our experience in Guatemala so wonderful. Highly recommend this cozy cafe!More

Walking from el Arco Santa Catalina found this hidden gem in a corner of Calle San Sebastian. When you go in it seems to be a small coffee shop where they sell ground coffee and chocolate, among other delights. But behind the shop they have...this beautiful interior garden with several tables and we got in just in time for breakfast. We had a great whole meal to start the day, nice hot coffee, fruits and vegetable juice, crepe egg and beans tortilla, and finally yogurt with granola and fruits. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and service was excellent. You should definitely come here for breakfast or brunch!More

I always come here when I’m in Antigua. They have a good, healthy menu, (but with some comfort foods, like cornflakes). The soup comes with a delicious homemade bread. They also sell coffee, chocolate and gourmet food and cosmetic items. As well, a Mayan woman...is always there weaving and selling her textiles.More

I had breakfast here twice; tipico with scrambled eggs and pancakes with fruit. Both were very good. Coffee Americano was strong and black, which is how I like my coffee, and was the best coffee I had in Antigue. They also sell coffee and chocolate.
