Stumbled onto this restaurant on a hot non-guided walk in 2012. When back in Puerto Quetzal in Feb 2020, took the long bus ride to Antigua mainly to go back to this restaurant. Was worth it!

Terrific dining with a wide range of options from traditional Guatemalan cuisine to inventive international food. Had lunch twice here, and the service, food quality and drinks were of the highest standard. Don't miss dining here.

Casa Santo Domingo is an amazing property housing multiple museums, a lovely hotel, restaurants, venues, a spa and breathtaking grounds on a 17th Century convent. This restaurant is lovely and occupies multiple areas of the hotel. Thick stone walls and interesting architecture enhance the dining...experience. I arrived at an odd hour when there were just a handful of other diners. Because it was holiday time, red and green tablecloths dressed the tables. The service was quick and friendly. A server placed a small American flag on the table to notify an English-speaking waiter. The menu had an international selection. I chose a white fish dish with local vegetables which was beautifully presented. It was interesting but I did not especially like it. The white wine recommended by the waiter was very good. I didn’t get a chance to go back for dinner; I wanted to sit in the garden for dinner and see the Mayan dancers.More
