This place is under the radar, doesn't appear in guides or advertisements. Overlooked perhaps because it's mid-island, near Stop&Shop, but we finally discovered because it's open in winter... I have to say that so far they win the ACK fish taco contest...! You can get your selections as a bowl, tacos or burritos--- all customizable... also approved by the vegetarians among us. Great options to take to the beach (or to Cisco Brewery when the food trucks are not there). Now that we've discovered it, will go in all seasons!

overpriced over cooked food. at least $13 for a burrito and the meat is overcooked or its because it has been sitting out all day.

To bad they have menus with prices they don’t honor

Ordered fish. tacos which is very good however they don’t honor menu pricing. Really? I was surprised at the response when I brought it to their attention. They should be fined. I hate places that false advertise. Wouldn’t come here ever again.

We weren’t sure of what we would find inside but we were pleasantly surprised. We would have ordered the lobster roll but we were told it is only available “seasonally”. We ended up having shrimp tacos for lunch. It was nice to be able to choose from a wide selection of meats and fresh generous toppings. Service was friendly and the place has indoor seating available. Restaurant was very clean. Although we didn’t try their breakfast it appears they have a great selection and they open at 6:30am. This is great if you are an early riser.

Good food, high price, better for takeout

My husband and I ordered fish tacos ($14) and a quesadilla ($11) and ate there. There is very little seating there so it is best as takeout. There are so many choices in Nantucket and this wasn't our favorite but the food is good.

Good quick eat, Chipotle style

Nantucket needed this

Quite informal restaurant much like Chipotle. We had a burrito, tacos and a salads all with the quite good jerk chicken. Good flavors and generous portions. Also had a large cup of cheese dip. Emphasis on large cup. Really easy, not too expensive. Great alternative to spending 100s of dollars in town.

Fresh Mexican To Go or Dine In

One of the freshest mexican spots I've been too. My fish tacos were perfect. Crispy, spicy and very fresh. Not the soggy mess you get in other places which is always the case with fish tacos. Great spot for lunch.

Better than chipotle

I just randomly drove by and I noticed the word 'tacos' and being a foodie I stopped by and checked it out, basically Nantucket's own personal chipotle but better as they have more delicious options on what u want on your burrito or bowl. Highly recommend, most likely to become my go to spot on island.

Great new casual restaurant!

Barcos y Tacos has been open for a month and we've been there about 10 times...no exaggeration. The burritos, whether off the menu or create your own, are fantastic! Lots of fresh ingredients to choose from (proteins and veggies), friendly staff and fast service. Small dining area or take-out. Lots of parking. Nantucket's own version of Chipolte but so much more!
