Indoor dining area is quite attractive and outdoor patio is nice, though would be better without loud music. Food a bit on the salty side.

As a Moby Dick fan there was no way I wasn't going to a restaurant called Queequeg while in Nantucket. Overall it was just ok. Food was fine, but fell short of a lot of the other options in the area. It has a beautiful ambiance, especially at night, so hopefully we just went on a off day.

Perfect night weather-wise (68F). Thought we'd dine outside and were placed at a table close to , what looked like, was Queequegs outside bar . Things went well... For about 25 minutes..... The bar, which is literally adjoined seamlessly to the table section with no divider, does not belong to Queequegs , it belongs to "Town", which apparently is the... More

We arrived on Nantucket over Labor Day weekend and it was very crowded, as we expected! We wandered around, and we came across Queequegs. As we were desperate for a pit stop, the staff took pity on us and let us use the facilities even though they weren't open for a few more minutes. We are very glad we waited around... More

We know that Queequeg's has had an up and down history. Last night, it was down. (We want to note that our server was very nice.) The drinks and dishes did not comport with the description on the menu. For example, one drink arrived without the described herb and lime (lemon instead- not the same). The halibut, which was substituted... More

Been here a few times always beats my expectations! The scallops are fresh and cooked perfectly. The chowder is the best I've had. Husband said the short ri s were great.

This cozy place is located on a quiet side street in the heart of the town. The bar is great and has interesting drinks to offer. The food is creative and the prices, for Nantucket, are very good. Eat inside or outside. The waitstaff is genial and knows the menu well. We love this place!

Having visited this beautiful island many times over the past 13 years, one becomes familiar with the business approach of the island and in particular, restaurants and hotels -- as in, they make 85% to 90% of their income during the 90 days of summer -- so you need to find peace with general consumer goods marketed up between 30%... This restaurant backs up to Ventuno's which is stiff competition. It was not great and would have preferred Ventuno's. I had a fava bean, micro greens w/ goat cheese salad and it was so small and disappointed. The short ribs were not that great either. Don't waste your money.

I had not been to Queequeg's in some time as I like to try different restaurants around the island. Some friends recommended we go there for a foursome. We were seated on the outdoor terrace, which normally is very nice, but this night had a fairly high noise level. We were happy, though, because the noise level inside was far... More
