Ambience, Style, Excellent service, oh but portions were somewhat on the light side. My entree was average ( Cod ) my wife's much better (chicken). We enjoyed our experience (mostly the first class service), but ended the night getting a piece of pizza down at the ferry dock. Pizza was excellent !

We were recently here for Sunday brunch and sat in the downstairs bistro, our preferred location. The bloody mary was exceptional as was the frittata. My "go to" is the chicken liver salad, making my mouth water as I write.

We couldn't get a reservation for Saturday dinner so we ate at Sunday Brunch. Our server was excellent: knowledgeable and attentive but not obsequious. The clams in Madeira wine were incredible as was the bread with roasted garlic cloves.

We were given a table in a dark corner. It was difficult to read the menu. Noone came to offer water or take wine orders for 15 minutes so we got up, left and walked into Dune where we had an extraordinary dinner. This was to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary.

Great Restaraunt. We sat downstairs in the more casual bistro. The menus is the same as the formal dining room upstairs. We've been wanting to come here for years and finally had a chance on this visit. The experience didn't disappoint. We had local steamed littlenecks to start which were in a savory wine herb broth speckled with crispy lardons.... More

We found the restaurant to be a bit pretentious, but the food was excellent (I had the tuna tartare and the onion crusted chicken breast) and they have good wines by the glass (including a red Roussillon) that we liked. Service was very good (and patient with us). My only issue was that they apparently don't take reservations between 6:45... More

The local tomatoes in the special appetizer were outstanding ~ my favorite part of the dinner. I also liked the very fresh local oysters. The lobster preparation with polenta and asparagus was quite tasty.

I loved this place. The main dining room upstairs was elegant. My meal was well executed. The wine was good. I had the chocolate pot de creme. It was sinfully rich and wonderful. This upscale place was a good value too. I will return here.

My daughters and I enjoyed the quaintness of the bistro. Two of us had the super steak frit while my other daughter dove into the lobster. Just delicious and most definitely a place to visit again!
