4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

My husband and I went in for a quick lunch. The menu is basic diner food, plus a page of burritos. We had grilled chicken salads, which were fine. Nothing special, but a good family restaurant.

Had high expectations for lunch here after the reviews and awards, but was severely disappointed. Ordered the pork burrito bowl -- was 99% tasteless rice and beans. Even the two kinds of salsa I got with it were bland and almost tasteless. And like most restaurants in town -- way over-priced at $15. Service was good, but couldn't recommend the... More

In many establishments during high season in a resort town, good service is the last thing you get consistently. My experience with Fog Island Cafe is just the opposite. This casual restaurant known for great breakfasts would probably just need to open it doors during high season and be full every meal. But at Fog Island the owner ensures that... More

Wonderful and fast breakfast location right in town!! Try the cinnamon French toast! To die for! It's right in town, around the corner from the Hyline. We went on a Monday morning and the service was fast and excellent!

We came to Fog Island cafe to get sandwiches for the beach. Twenty to thirty minutes later we left with all of our food, but only some of our time for the beach. I give four stars only because the food WAS good, and the atmosphere was nice and family friendly. Would not recommend to people in a hurry.

Very friendly staff. Food is average. Pancakes were a bit dry. I am put off that everywhere they charge extra for maple syrup. I would rather charge a bit more.

Great breakfast! We had a group of eight and were surprised that they could accommodate us (4 kids under 5!). I had the Brie omelet which was heavenly, but on the smaller side. The pancakes were great and the place really is worth the wait. We plan on returning during our next trip.

Standard breakfast options, but can customize to make very healthy. Veggie egg white omelette was very well-done! Loved the iced flavored tea too. Will return!
