There is no other restaurant on Nantucket quite like Company of the Cauldron. Romance greets you at the door. It is warm, cozy, inviting, intimate. There's usually a harpist playing. The menu is fixed ahead of time, though, and everyone eats the same three-course meal. Because of this, you have to read it before making your reservation and make sure... More

Excellent cuisine with a warm and inviting ambience, The Caldron has to be one of the premier restaurants on the Island. Located right downtown, this restaurant featuring a price fixe menu, is a dining experience you won't forget. Check the daily menu on the Web and go have a wonderful time.

Warm and inviting ambiance of a country pub with charming street windows, dark oak and copper. Nice touches with pressed napkins and damask cloths. There's just one seating and one menu per night, so if the posted menu works for you, do it. Our 4 courses featured lobster buckwheat crepe, field green salad, beef two ways and chocolate torte. All... More

Had a wonderful evening. There was only one seating this evening and a pre selected menu. The setting was great, the food unbelievable and the service stellar. Only down side beer and wine only, no spirits.

Great restaurants differ from merely good restaurants by their attention to detail, and to this end, Chef All's (pronounced "Awl")is a master of nuance. From the boldness of his sauces to the quality of his salads, from temperature of the entries to the seductiveness of his presentations, he produced four great courses for us, nailing each one. He's able to... More

We loved our visit to CoC! Each night the Chef cooks for two seating so of one menu, so check out the menu ahead of time. If you like what is served it can be a great time! No concern over what to get, just sit back, enjoy a drink or some good wine and the serve it up in... More

This unique Nantucket gem is a performance by a talented group of chefs, in a unique, charming and romantic setting. The menu is pre-fixe, and is posted on their website - there is no selection at the restaurant - what is on the menu is served. If you have a food allergy you need to tell them at time of... More

For the lobster fan, Monday night is lobster night which you need to reserve weeks in advance. Four delectable courses, 3 of which are lobster-centric. Pricey but worth the experience especially when on vacation.

We had a wonderful dinner here with really delicious food and perfect service. Food is expensive and for the money you may prefer to have options; the one menu feels like a little bit of a gimmick though it makes sense when you see the size of the kitchen. The restaurant feels a little dated but it was started in... More

If you want to feel
as if you have your own private chef, make reservations to dine at The Company of the Cauldron. Located in the heart of Nantucket's Historic District, the abundant charm of this small red building with ivy-covered windows invites you to enter. Inside the doorway massed flowers greet you on the antique bakers rack. Just beyond, tables glow softly, lit only by candles. The kitchen is open and can be seen from the dining room. Classical harp music wafts in the background three evenings of the week. Romantic ambience abounds.
