Everything in the menu is outstanding, the deserts to die for ,make a reservation and seasonal dishes are best.Later in the night the porch area gets a little crazy ,dancing and music a lot of fun

Our highest recommendation goes to the crab stuffed avocado appetizer - to die for. This was a little pricey, but great food, and we loved the location - we sat at a table along the sidewalk. Fun to view the action passing by.

I've been dining here for many years, and the latest visit had some problems. It's located in the basement of a large house. Don't let the basement scare you off, the ambiance inside is very nice. The ceiling is vaulted, and painted a dark gold color, so the dining room has a warm pleasant glow to it. Lately, they have... More

Though the food was delicious, this is not for those seeking a quiet romantic dinner. We were seated next to a very loud group and the din was at times overwhelming, at times hearing more from the group than from my husband. The dining room itself is not conducive to the ambiance we were seeking. This would be the place... More

Our first night in Nantucket we ate here. Such a cozy atmosphere. Tables not too close together. Wonderful service. Amazing- I mean amazing- food.

Very nice place for dinner. Subterranean space which is comfy and cozy, you can also eat outside in a canopied space. Interesting menu, nicely served. There are many great places to eat on Nantucket and this a certainly among them.

After many visits to Nantucket we decided to give the Boarding House a try. Without a reservation, and with limited seating outside due to the rainy weather, nevertheless we were comfortable outside with the heat lamps on. Service was interesting, with five different people stopping at our table, but even with all these folks we still had to wait quite... More

From the moment we walked in to the Boarding House, the night was terrific. The maitre d' was honest: a table inside that may be a little cramped or one outside. We selected outside with the promise that the service would be good. And it was better then good...it was outstanding. The food was delicious- an interesting Caesar salad with... More

The food and service here was great. My wife got swordfish and I had poached lobster. We were both very pleased with our entrée but the truffle fries stole the show. Cool patio and friendly folks.
