Seating limited to 5-6 small tables in front of the bar which faces the open kitchen. Small staff focusses on careful, quick service. I had a... More

Most delicious breakfast place. Sit at the bar and watch them make all the delicious items, I learned some new tricks. Huevos Rancheros was the bomb!

Had a great breakfast here and were lucky to have gotten in so fast! Remember it was October, but was told people wait for over an hour during the summer. We both had a bowl of grits topped with ham and scrambled eggs and cheese! I really felt like I was back home in SC! My only suggestion is to... More

Great Breakfast, they don't take credit cards. And unless you read the fine print on the menu, that is the only way you know..

We walked over to Black-eyed Susan's on a Saturday morning in September. Our timing (8:30ish) was excellent. It was busy, but not packed. Ten minutes after we sat down there was a line out the door of people waiting and every table and counter seat was filled. It was breakfast, so what can I say? It was good. Nothing phenomenal,... Eggs Benedict was amazing, hash browns were browned nicely and the eggs were perfection. Highly recommend this little quaint place! Will come back again.

Off the beaten path but well known for their breakfast. The plates are overflowing with quickly made scrambles and omelettes. Would have been better if our order had not mysteriously disappeared and we had gotten our food in a timely manner. But luckily vacation changes your attitude a little. What does amaze me is that the staff never know how... More
