If you've been, you know. If you haven't, go, you'll love it! They are open long hours, so go early to avoid the rush, and save your sandwich for later. Or go late afternoon, and have it for dinner. (They might run out of some bread choices, but who cares?)

My cousin and I stopped by here for sandwiches before we biked to Cisco beach. The full turkey sandwich I got was out of this world! It was very filling. Would return for sandwiches before the beach any day.

So, I have eaten here several times over the years. The sandwiches and cookies are really tasty. It has always been overpriced, but this year things have gone too far! One peanut butter and jelly sandwich set us back TEN dollars! You can buy a loaf of bread, two jars of jelly, and two jars of peanut butter for that... More

Get away from the pretentious prices on Nantucket and take a stroll here. EXCELLENT home made breads for sandwiches that are filled with yummy-ness! Each sandwich is the size of TWO back home (I'm from CT, close to NY and we like a bang for our buck in terms of size and quality when it comes to eating out). Meat... More

The sandwiches are fresh ingredients and extremely large. We ordered the whole size and it fed two people for lunch and dinner. Call your order in ahead and miss waiting in line

Never disappointed by the food or setting here. Delicious sandwiches prepared to order on fresh baked bread. Accompanied by wonderful baked goods. The setting is almost too good to be true. The sandwiches also make a great seaside lunch on nearby beaches. Not to be missed if you're in Nantucket

We had a long flight home and our friend brought us here to stock up for the trip. We called ahead for our two chutney with avocado and cheese on Portuguese bread and they were fresh and filling and absolutely delicious. The peanut butter chocolate chip cookies were amazing, soft and chewy inside with a nice crispiness at the edges.... More

It is always busy there, a testimony to the excellent food. Roast beef sandwich was fantastic. The picnic tables and setting is great!

high quality outdoor dining on picnic tables in the shade, a real throwback to days gone by. Excellent sandwiches and cookies made on their own bread...something for everyone, well worth the trip out of town.

The lines at this place are out the door and the parking lot is packed for good reason: the food is amazing. If you're in a rush, I would suggest calling ahead and it will usually be ready within 15 to 20 minutes from when you call. There is an extensive menu with a myriad of sandwiches. Everything is fresh,... More
