For the first time in a long time we had a quiet New Years Eve with just the two of us and we decided on dinner at Lucia's. Our original plan was a pre dinner cocktail at Bar 25 but much to our surprise they...were not open. Turned out well though, since we walked over to Lucia's and grabbed two seats at the bar. We had two great martini's (mine was a house special Limoncello), and these were martini's...served in a large glass and filled to the point that your first sip was performed bending over to sip from the glass set firmly on the bar. The bartender was very friendly and engaging and I recalled that I felt the same way about her when I had been here before. The restaurant had a good crowd and we went to our seats at our reservation time. Lucia's food is well prepared and we tried the Dolce E Salato, goat cheese stuffed dates wrapped in pancetta as a starter....Wow, I would highly recommend them to you. I tried one of the specials that evening...a filet mignon, cooked to perfection and served atop a bowls of pasta, with a puttanesca sauce with a generous portion of shrimp - hope that they add it to the everyday menu. Great atmosphere, great food, good drinks (nice wine list) and to top it off, party hats and a piano player. Very nice Italian restaurant in downtown AyerMore
We met family there for a nice evening meal after a very busy day with a family funeral. It was a wonderful place to relax after a long day and the food was just incredible. I had a chicken dish, and my husband had a...veal dish. Both were well flavored, plentiful and quite yummy. Service was very good and we enjoyed the environment as well. It was quiet, pleasant, and comfortable.
Parking behind the building is plentiful, so do not let the lack of street parking stop you from choosing Lucia's.More
Had a wonderful dinner last week here. The food here is GREAT! My fish was perfect. We didn't have time or room for dessert but wish we had! I will definitely be back...in fact, probably next Sat night. LOL. I needed something close to the...base and it was perfect!More
After several years' absence, we returned to enjoy Filet Gorgonzola, Seafood Risotto, Mushroom Ragu and Tiramisu.
Be prepared for generous portions. I preferred to allow room for tiramisu instead of salad.
The harmonica-piano duo enhanced our dining experience.
Jamie M. was a most pleasant, charming...and helpful server.More
I'm almost embarrassed to say I didn't know about this wonderful spot sooner!
Took my wife of 22 years to dinner here and we were brought to our table by Sophia, the hostess. She was incredibly sweet and made sure we were pleased with our...location in the restaurant.
Our server, Shayna could not have been better. As it was our first time there she made a number of suggestions in order to help us with our menu choices.
Considering the size of the restaurant, the menu was actually quite extensive.
We both ordered cocktails from the specials menu... although both were excellent.. As usual my wife's eclipsed mine! They have also an extensive wine list--- larger than most restaurants their scale.
My wife ended up choosing the Seafood Risotto for her main course and I ended up with a very unItalian meal...Pork Schnitzel... both entrees could not have been more delicious!
Shayna helped us navigate the desert menu--- we usually don't order dessert at most restaurants because, quite frankly, many restaurants do not spend a great deal of time nor effort on their dessert menus these days.
Not so in this establishment..
My wife ordered Chuchee, which was a crisp fried dough drizzled with local honey and powdered sugar; it reminded me of a crispy piece of fried dough and was just as yummy..( if you decide to order this for dessert.. Be warned: it's enormous and you'll want to share!..) I ordered an old Italian favorite--- zabaglione and berries. I don't believe I've ever had a dessert this rich or decadent that wasn't chocolate!
Cannot wait for our next foray to this hidden gem on Main street!More
My absolute favorite is the butternut squash ravioli as an entree! The olive fritti as an appetizer is awesome. The bread and olive oil and "the bread spread" are great. Every dessert i have had was very good. My favorite rest
restaurant in the area.
We had a staff meeting for my company and ended up visiting here due to a referral from another colleague. The food was outstanding, the service was exceptional and the environment made me wish I had my wife with me instead of work partners. Highly...encourage anyone to stop in for food or drinks, the Veal Porterhouse was one of the best I’ve ever hadMore
