Same menu but the ambiance next door is better. The bar scene and the decorations adds to the decor. They have their own pub style menu but you can order anything off their restaurant next door (fancier). They share the same kitchen.
Wed is burger night. Get in early, sit at the bar, have bacon wrapped dates and a burger, go home happy.
Very cool vibe when you walk in, great place to hear music and hang out for a beer. Food was ok, I will go back and try them again.
I'm surprised by the good reviews, the menu was overpriced to begin with. I went here based on good reviews and didn't like my burger, no flavor, needed sauce, small, fatty bacon (blue burger). We tried the fish tacos, nothing special. For 4 adults and...1 kid (no kid menu) it was $89 with tip. No drinks (just milk) and 2 $5 apps. I would not recommend or return here (limited expensive menu, food not very good). I will say the service was good.More
Met here for lunch to catch up with a friend. Been wanting to eat here for a while now since the menu sounded delicious. The menu was correct! I’ve eaten at Lucias Tavola which are the same owners as Markoh’s. I got my favorite salad...with my favorite fish. Mother Earth and salmon on top. I forgot to ask without cheese but was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it. Staff was excellent and food terrific. My friend had the chicken Caesar salad and enjoyed it as well. Clean plate club here. Will definitely return! Thank you very much everyone at Markoh’s.More
$5 specials night.... burgers... wings... 25 ounce beer.... all good. wait staff very nice but short staffed. Ambiance was nice along with the live music. They have specials thru out the week ... my thanks to all
I had attended a function here a few years ago. This is my first time having lunch. My husband has been here before and enjoyed it. It is a cozy place in a small town. I enjoyed how friendly the staff was who took time...to chit chat and that made us feel welcomed. They also made sure everything was as expected. There is a back door from the parking lot that has a ramp. The place seems clean. We went for lunch and the menu had the usual lunch specials such as salads and sandwiches. The portions were quite large. I had the shrimp wrap which was very good and had roasted peppers and onions which were amazing. My husband had the chicken sandwich with bacon. Looked and tasted great. The fries were crispy and I ate them all. We had great (not spicy) chili that came with chips. They have several local beers on tap and a full bar. I had a delicious cannoli for desert that tasted as if it were made in Boston. We will be back again for lunch. But if you go at night, there is entertainment. I hope this was helpful.More
Burgers, beer, wings, all on point. Had some nice sounding entrees on the menu we may try next time. Friendly and efficient staff. Place was clean. Great rail trail destination.
In terms of ambiance, it felt better than the last time I was there. Last time it was much more rustic. There were 6 of us and the furnishings seemed more like second-hand. The dinner selections were from 2 establishments one from Marko's and one...from it's parent, Lucia's. The food was average and unremarkable. This time we had chicken picata which was above average. However, the service missed the mark, perhaps due to a new wait person. It should be noted that the food selections are all cooked in Lucia's which is down the street. It's an odd setup and works nicely some of the time.More
