A warm and cozy old New England Inn. Stone's offers great food and drink with atmosphere and possibly even a visit from someone out of the past.

I have eaten here many times, the food and service is always spot on. It is also family friendly so it is no problem for us to bring our 3 year old every once and awhile. Literally everything on the menu is good, but I love the corn beef sandwich, seafood stew and full Irish breakfast (for brunch). My wife... More

Such a relaxed atmosphere where you can get the best regional crafts! Good wine list. The menu is really complete top to bottom. Hard to pick every time. Well worth the trip!

I really enjoy going to Stone's Public House (aka John Stone's Inn) for the atmosphere, the fact that they have a nice outdoor seating option, and it's fun to listen for the ghosts. I would like to see them make some changes to the menu options. What they have is creative and the food is good, but would love to... More

Hi Susan, Thank you for the review and feedback we appreciate it all. I am not sure how frequently you come in, but do say hi when you come in next time. We actually have done some recent additions. We have a new grilled steak sandwich, the bet salad as well as the option to make your salad a wrap.... More

Went in for a quick bite and a eer. I had the chili and a salad. The chili was awesome with chunks of steak and just spicy enough (I like it spicy) to not overpower the flavor. The tap beer was ice cold and the bartender was extremely helpful while I was trying to make a selection from their drafts.... More

We went there for a Mother's Day brunch, which turned out to be a buffet. The food was mediocre, not all that hot, and they had trouble keeping up with demand. For $20/person, I expected a better meal.

Thank you for the review... It's never easy to see negative feedback when you tried very hard to pull off a successful day. Nonetheless, we know that it's these types of reviews that keep us honest and causes us to reflect on what we can improve on. I actually had this very conversation with our owners that evening. We are... More

Stone's has become my place to go for dinner or drinks with family and friends. The bar is fun and often crowded. I love the high tops near the fireplace. The food is consistently great, beer selection outstanding and service wonderful. A real gem in MetroWest. Worth checking out for lunch or dinner.

Food was fine, but my son's fish & chips was soggy. Service wasn't very good, servers not very attentive. I wouldn't go back.

One of our favorite spots for lunch, dinner, drinks or dessert. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food is excellent, especially the Colcannon soup and the Beef Chili (but beware, the chili packs a spicy kick). They always have a great list of local beers on draught as well as a decent wine list. The fireplaces are a really... More

Had a casual lunch here and ever thing was delicious . Corned beef sandwich was moist and really enjoyed the rye bread. Breakfast is great and the tuna salad made with fresh tuna slices was wonderful. Great burgers too.
