Cool flavors. Pupusas were great! Food and drinks were wonderful. The service might have been a bit better but the place is small enogh that it was easy to get our needs met.

We were dropping off our daughter at Mt. Holyoke and looked for a lunch restaurant and saw the many recommendations for El Comalito. We were very pleased with our choice. Excellent food - the Vegeterian tamale and the pupussas were fantastic. The hibiscus house matgarrita...More

Went here during vacation and they were really good. Empanadas, rice & beans, mole sauce and a couple of coronas. It was empty though, so don't know if they just opened?

This was our first time to this Salvadoran restaurant. The chips were thin and fresh, salsa good. I got 3 popusas ,each different. Freshly made, hot, delicious stuffing but a little beady. Adding salsa or hot sauce or guacamole makes them just fine. My wife...More

This restaurant is really worth a visit. There are Salvadoran specialties and traditional Mexican food. One of my favorites is the Avocado Burrito! But the best thing of all are the pupusas! These are hard to describe - kind of like a pita bread, but...More

El Comatilo is a great little spot that I was lucky to stumble upon. It is hidden just off the main road behind a convenience store. I actually missed it and was rerouted by my GPS, so keep your eyes open when approaching. The staff...More

I go here periodically to eat and each time I come away truly satisfied. The food, the atmosphere and the service are second to none. Today I had a pulled pork burrito which I purchased "to go" -- it was excellent!

I love this place and the family that runs it. Has this new burrito on recommendation and it was perfect. Had it again a couple days later. Never had anything bad. Fun watching the place grow.

Papusas that people seem to rave about - just OK. We tried a few different ones. They aren't bad either, but just don't live up to the hype. A bit bland, no matter what it was filled with. Enchiladas were good. No complaints. Thumbs up....More

We found it by accident. Tough to find if you don't know it is there. We had fish tacos and a chicken and avocado salad. Tastes great. Service was terrific and prices cheap. An excellent lunch!
